To help students learn more about Chinese traditional culture.Learning analysis: Fishing with birds is a very interesting topic, students are very interested in it, however, it is a little difficult for students to describe the process of fishing with birds. Students can watch a video about it, it can help students to understand the passage.Teaching difficult points:1. Describe the process of fishing with birds.2. The passive voice.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Greetings Good morning, boys and girls.Step 2 Leading-in This class, we will learn Unit 3 Traditional skills. Before our class, lets look at the pictures first. T: What are they doing? S: They are fishing. T: Can human get fish easily? Who can tell us? Tim, can you have a try? S: T: Yes, you are right. Its difficult for human to get fish. Now, please look at these pictures. T: Some birds are good at catching fish. Do you know what they are? S: T: Yes, they are cormorants. Lets look at the first picture. 1. T: Can you guess what he does? S: Maybe he is a fisherman. 2. T: Is he young or old? S: He is very old. 3. T: What are these birds called? S: They are called cormorants. 4. T: What are they good at? S: They are good at catching fish.Look at the second picture.1. T: What is he doing?S: He is pushing the cormorants into the water.2.
