It mustbelong to Carlabelong to 意為“屬于,為 所有”。后需接名詞或賓格代詞,不用于進(jìn)行時態(tài)和被動語態(tài)例如: I belong to the swimming club.That book belongs to me.Must 意為 “準(zhǔn)是、一定 ”,它表達(dá)的肯定程度最大,可以達(dá)到 100% 。只
3、用于肯定句中【拓展】情態(tài)動詞表示推測:( 1) could、might、 may 的意思是 “可能、也許 ”,表示推測,它們所表達(dá)的肯定程度較低,這三個詞相比 may 的可能性稍大一些;他們的肯定程度在20% 至 80%。( 2) cant的意思之 “不可能 ”,它相應(yīng)的肯定形式是must;它的可能性為0% 。( 3) must、 could、might 和 cant的后面可用一般現(xiàn)在時、現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時,表示對現(xiàn)在的動作、狀態(tài)或正在進(jìn)行的動作的推測。例如: He might/could be playing basketball now.I m sure that she can t stay a
4、t home.He must be walking in the garden.2.He was the only little kid at the picniconly 作形容詞,意為“唯一的,僅有的”可用來修飾名詞.例如: He is the only boy in his family.【拓展】 only 作副詞,意為“只,僅,才”修飾主語時, only 常置于主語之前例如: Only a doctor can do that.修飾主語以外的成分時, only 常置于行為動詞之前, be 動詞,情態(tài)動詞,助動詞后例如: I only touched it.要確定所修飾的事物時,則置于所
