Review shapes with a drill.Key ConceptsThis is a review lesson for shapes and adverbs of frequency.USE THE STUDENT BOOK AND AUDIOTAPENote that in Mr. Woods chart, the names of the students start with capital letters. Why? Can the s

3、tudents think of other names that always start with capital letters? (The names of countries and cities). Explain the difference between words that describe types of things (such as “girl” or “country”), and words that are names (such as “Jenny” or “China”).PRACTICE1. Practice shapes and adverbs of

4、frequency with a drill. Draw four shapes on the blackboard. Beside each shape, write an adverb of frequency. (This will now look like the list of shapes and adverbs at the bottom of Mr. Woods chart in the student book). Call out a shape or an adverb. The students respond with the correct correspondi

5、ng word. Change the combinations of adverbs and shapes part way through the drill.2. Play a variation of “Never Never.” Instead of check marks, ask the students to draw the shape I call out. For example :I sometimes walk to school. Circle!( The student draws a circle in fewer than half the boxes and Xs in the rest.)3. Divide the class into small groups.
