17、.2. 形容詞的最高級常與介詞in或of短語連用,說明比較范圍。一般情況下,如果主語與介詞短語中的名詞屬于同一類,用介詞of;如果不是同一類,則用介詞in。如: He is the tallest of these boys. Sam is the youngest in his class.3. 形容詞的最高級前可用序數(shù)詞,二者共同修飾后面的名詞,其結(jié)構(gòu)為“the+序數(shù)詞 + 形容詞的最高級 + 名詞”。如: The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.4. “one of + the + 形容詞的最高級 + 復(fù)數(shù)名詞”,意為“
18、最之一”。如: Miss Wang is one of the most popular teachers in our school.三、副詞的最高級的用法1. 副詞的最高級前面可以加定冠詞the,也可以省略。如: The tall boy sang (the) most beautifully.2. 副詞的最高級常與介詞in或of短語連用,說明比較范圍。一般情況下,如果 主語與介詞短語中的名詞屬于同一類,用介詞of;如果不是同一類,則用介詞 in。 V. When people watch the show, they usually play a role in deciding the winner. 人們看這樣的節(jié)目時(shí),通常要評判出優(yōu)勝者。play a role是一種固定表達(dá),意為“扮演某一角色;起到某種作用”。若要進(jìn)一步引出具體的內(nèi)容,后面應(yīng)用介詞in,表示“在某事或某個(gè)方面起到作用或承擔(dān)某種角色”。e.g. John is playing the leading role in this years play.今年的演出中約翰是主角。Schools play
