2、 tense.四、教學思路本課的教學內容是人教版八年級英語下冊第五單元的第三課時, Section A的Grammar Focus-4c部分主要是通過練習進一步純熟運用連詞when和 while以及過去進展時。對這部分的學習,應讓學生先獨立完成,再核對答案,糾正他們的錯誤,以加深記憶和理解。五、教學準備multimedia, blackboard, tape-recorder六、教學過程Step 1 Greeting and reviewT: Good morning, class!Ss: Good morning, Mrs Zheng!T:What were you doing when I

3、 came in?Ss:.Step 2 Grammar FocusGo over the sentences in the Grammar Focus and try to find out how to use“when, while.First let students say out their opinions completely, and then the teacher sums up the rules.一when和 while都有“當時候的意思。when既可示某一時間點,也可以表示某一段時間。在when引導的時間狀語從句中,其謂語動詞可以是延續(xù)性的,也可以是非延續(xù)性的,可與主

4、句中的謂語動詞同時發(fā)生,也可在其后發(fā)生。例如:1. I was just reading a book when she came into my room.她走進我房間時,我正在看書。2. Were you writing when the teacher came in? 老師進來的時候,你在寫信嗎?3. When he was a child ,he was always fishing with his father.他小時候就常常和他父親一 起釣魚。二 while只能表示某一段時間,不能表示某一時間點。在while引導的時間狀語從句中,其謂語動詞只能是延續(xù)性的,而且也只能與主句中的謂

5、語動詞同時發(fā)生或存在。例如:1. While Jim was mending his bike, Lin Tao came to see him.正當吉姆修自行車時,林濤來看他。2. You can't do your homework while you're watching TV.你不能一邊看電視一邊做家庭作業(yè)。三另外,when和 while的區(qū)別還在于: while引|導的時間狀語從句多用于進展時態(tài),而when引導的時間狀語從句多用一般時態(tài)。例如:1. While they were talking, the bell rang正在他們談話的時候,上課鈴響了。2. I

6、was doing my homework when my mother came back home yesterday evening.昨天晚上媽媽回家的時候,我正在做家庭作業(yè)。Step 3Practice1. Look at the table and examples in 4a and write setences with both“whenand“ while.2. Ask some students to read aloud their sentences.3. Fill in the blanks with "was" "were"“
