Iwasexposedtonewpeople,newideasandacompletelynewwayoflife-awayoflifethatexposedmetodrugs.MostofthepeoplethatImetintheactingschoolhadalreadybeendoingdrugsforyears.Ifeltthatbyusingdrugs,Iwouldbecomeapartoftheirworldanditwoulddeepenmyfriendshipswiththemtonewlevels.Itriedpot,evenalittlecocaine,butitwasEcstasythatchangedmylifeforever.

IrememberthefeelingIhadthefirsttimeIdidEcstasy:completeandutterbliss.Icouldfeelthepulseoftheuniverse.ItwasasifIhadunlockedsomesortofsecretworld;itwasasifI'dfoundheaven.AndIwonderedhowanythingthatmadeyoufeelsogoodcouldpossiblybebad.Astimewentby,thingschanged.Igraduated,andbegantousedrugs,especiallyEcstasy,morefrequently.AsIdid,Iactuallystartedtolookdownonthosewhodidnot.Isurroundedmyselfonlywiththosewhodid.Ihadgonefromagirlwhoneveruseddrugstoawomanwhocouldn'timaginelifewithoutthem.
