Informationliteracyisthecoreoflifelonglearning.Informationliteracyandlifelonglearningrepresentthelighthouseoftheinformationsociety.Intheageofdigitallearning，informationliteracyistheprerequisiteofautonomouslearning，demonstratingtowhatextentanindividuallearnshowtolearn.Intherecentfourdecades，therehasbeenon-goingresearchintotheconnotations，relevanceandstandardsofinformationliteracyinandoutsideChina.Thispaperattemptstodiscusstheconnotations，relevanceandcomponentsofinformationliteracy，reviewingitsevolutionaryprogressandkeystandards，fromtheperspectiveofhistoricaldevelopment.Informedbyavarietyofinformationliteracystandardsandthedemandsforautonomouslearningandlifelonglearning，thepaperproposestenmajorstandardsofinformationliteracy，whichareexpectedtocontributetotheenhancementoflearners’informationliteracyorlearningability.Itisarguedthatintheageoflifelonglearning，thelearningsocietyisnotonlyoneinwhichanyonecanlearnanywhere/anytimebutoneinwhicheveryoneknowshowtolearnwell.Informationliteracyisthefoundationforgoodlearningabilitywhichinturnpromotestheconstructionanddevelopmentofthelearningsociety.

Onlinelearningisthemainvehiclefortheindustrializationofeducation，hencebecomingoneofthehotissuesindistanceeducation，educationaltechnologyandlearningresourcesdevelopment.Thispapercollectedandanalyzed721journalarticlesfromthefulltextdatabaseofChinaNationalKnowledgeInfrastructure（CNKI）intermsofnumberofarticle，researchfocusandtypeofresearch.Thecontentanalysismethodwasadopted.Informedbyrelevantstatistics，directionsforfurtherresearchareidentifiedintheareasoftheoreticalframework，marketvalue，learningsupporttechnology，newtechnology，empiricalresearchmethods，andevaluationandmanagement.

SignificantprogresshasbeenmadetoachieveUniversalPrimaryEducation（UPE）andyet，globallywefindthat131millionchildrenfromprimaryandlowersecondaryschoolageareoutofschool.ThesuccessofUPEhasledtonewchallengesofprovidingaccesstosecondaryeducation，andgovernmentsarestrugglingtomeetthisdemandforsecondaryeducation.Ontheotherhand，whiletheyareconfrontedwiththedemandforsecondaryeducation，theaccessofUPEhasnottranslatedintorealgainsinsomecountries，andstatisticsshow31.2millionchildrenleftschoolbeforecompletingthePrimaryeducationcycle.Anadditional32.2millionrepeatgrades.ThispapertakesintoconsiderationthechallengeofmeetingthesurgeforeducationandthemodelbeingproposedbytheCommonwealthofLearning（COL）asoneofthestrategiestoaddressthisdemand.Openschoolinghasbeenintroducedsuccessfullyinmanycountries.ThispaperwillgiveanoverviewoftheworkoftheCommonwealthinopenschoolingandhowthiscanformpartofthesolutionforaddressingtheMillenniumDevelopmentGoals（MDG），especiallyinachievinguniversalprimaryeducation，promotinggenderequalityandempoweringwomen.Keywords：OpenSchooling；model；CommonwealthofLearning；UniversalPrimaryEducation；SecondaryEducation；GenderEquality；MillenniumDevelopmentGoals

ThousandsofcourseshavebeenawardedasStateBenchmarkedCourses（SBCs）bytheChineseMinistryofEducationsince2022.However，therehasbeenlittleresearchintothestatusquoofSBCs.ThispaperreportsonasurveyonthedevelopmentandactualuseofSBCsandtheirevaluationmechanisminanattempttoidentifydistinctivefeaturesofSBCsintermsofresourcesconstruction，technologyrealization，contentupdating，andtechnologymaintenance.ThesurveyshedlightontheuseofSBCsandtheirimpactsonuniversityteachingandlearningandrevealedproblemsandweaknessesoftheexistingevaluationmechanism.IdeasandapproacheswerealsodiscussedinrelationtopromotingSBCsandenhancingtheirexemplaryeffects.

Thispaperreportsonanexperimenttoverifyhypothesisconcerningfactorsaffectinguniversitystudents’useofSakaiPlatform.TheTechnologyAcceptanceModel（TAM）wasadoptedasthetheoreticalgroundingforthisresearch.Basedonthevalidationofreliabilityandvalidityoftheassumedfactors，themaximumlikelihoodestimationmethodwasusedtoperformthestandardizationpathcoefficient，whichinturnwasusedtoperfectthehypotheticalmodel.Findingsfromtheexperimentprovidesupportforanumber
