其實，分析認為，作為一種國際性的考試，雅思索試的閱讀并沒有那么多的“玄學”，由于每套題目都遵循一個標準出爐，意味著經(jīng)過TestingPanel驗證后合格的考題總體上應當是在一個難度水平線上的。我們完全沒有必要在這點上大做文章。但為何有的考生言之鑿鑿地聲稱的確某一篇比其他的更難呢?

筆者認為，中國考生由于不是將英語作為nativelanguage，那么在詞匯、閱讀力量、速度有限的狀況下，文章主題的熟識度和背景學問的多寡直接就會造成考生對于特定考試文章的難度主觀感覺，這其實也解釋了為什么對于同一次考試，同一篇文章，英語水平其實差異不大的不同幾個考生會對文章難度有著迥然不同的看法。這種現(xiàn)象其實在網(wǎng)絡回憶文字中屢見不鮮。

所以，更理性的一種做法是，一方面考試要正視考題的客觀難度穩(wěn)定性，另一方面又要樂觀地實行方式避開或至少減小文章的主觀難度的負面影響。老師建議：

考生在接到考場指令打開試卷的第一時間用最短的時間(盡量不超過一分鐘)skim全卷

結合總體印象、最明顯的重復用詞，以及可能會有的全文標題、段落/小節(jié)標題、插圖等全部可借助的信息

根據(jù)個人對主題的熟識度、感愛好的程度重新支配全卷的先后做題挨次

這樣處理后，該次考試的Passage1/2/3就不再是考生手中questionbooklet所標明的挨次，而是“主觀上”對該考生而言，根據(jù)難度系數(shù)遞增的挨次排列的Passage1/2/3，而先完成的就是考生感覺最有信念，最“親切”的文章，也就是“最簡潔”的文章。

請留意，在雅思索試這樣的時間和題量設置框架下，大部分考生的考場心理狀態(tài)極大程度上影響了最終水平發(fā)揮的結果。因此建議考生在考前綜合模擬測試中，在對完整一套題目的總體解題sequencing方面，不妨實踐和熟識這樣的操作，以在將來實際考試中有一個更好的startingpoint。
