1.aswellas意為“也；還”，常用來連接兩個并列的成分。如：

HecanspeakSpanishaswellasEnglish.他會說西班牙語和英語。

2.largequantitiesof=alargequantityof,意為“大量的”。如：

1.(1)aswellas連接兩個主語時，謂語動詞的形式由前一個主語決定，即遵循“就遠原則”。如：

(2)aswell常用作狀語，意為“也”，相當于too或also，常位于句末。如：
