must

(1)表示“必須”或“應(yīng)該”做某事

needn’t=don’thaveto不必

mustn’t不允許

在回答由must引起的問(wèn)題時(shí)，如果作否定的回答，不能用mustn’t,而需用needn’t或don’haveto，因?yàn)閙ustn’t是“一定不要”、“不準(zhǔn)”的意思。

must與haveto的最大區(qū)別在于：當(dāng)表示過(guò)去某時(shí)不得不做完了某事，只能用hadtodosth.

need

(1)作情態(tài)動(dòng)詞，表示“需要”，主要用于否定句及疑問(wèn)句，肯定句用must,haveto,should,oughtto.
