(1)本句是主從復(fù)合句?!皐hich...neighborhood”是which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語(yǔ)從句,先行詞為Thebookstore;“whereanyone...books”是關(guān)系副詞where引導(dǎo)的限制性定語(yǔ)從句,修飾先行詞aplace。

(3)stayinbusiness維持營(yíng)業(yè)7.Childhoodmemoriescamebacktomesoclearly,asiftheeventshadhappenedonlyyesterday.童年的記憶如此清晰地浮現(xiàn)在我的腦海中,仿佛事情就發(fā)生在昨天。asif引導(dǎo)虛擬語(yǔ)氣。當(dāng)說(shuō)話人認(rèn)為句子所述的是不真實(shí)的或不大可能發(fā)生或存在的情況時(shí),可以用asif引導(dǎo)的從句。從句中動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)主要分為兩種情況:(1)如果從句表示與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)相反,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用一般過(guò)去時(shí)。

e.g.Heactsasifheknewme.他表現(xiàn)得好像認(rèn)識(shí)我似的。

(2)如果從句表示與過(guò)去事實(shí)相反,謂語(yǔ)從句用過(guò)去完成時(shí)。

e.g.HetalksaboutAntarcticaasifhehadbeentherebefor
