（2）impossible的用法。

①impossible是形容詞，意為“不可能的”。它是由形容詞possible加否定前綴im-構(gòu)成的形容詞，常作表語，也常用于“It

is

impossible

to

do

sth.”

句式中，意為“做某事是不可能的”，如果要表示“對某人來說，做某事是不可能的”，在不定式前加for

sb.。例如：

（讓我）在一個(gè)小時(shí)內(nèi)完成這項(xiàng)工作是不可能的。
