比較級用于兩者（人或事物）之間的比較，用以說明“前者比后者更……”。規(guī)則變化

（1）直接在詞尾加-er。eg：tall—taller

short—shorter語法講解（2）以不發(fā)音的字母e結尾的詞直接在其后加-r。eg：nice—nicer

large—larger（3）以重讀閉音節(jié)結尾并且末尾只有一個輔音字母的，應先雙寫該輔音字母再加-er。eg：big—bigger

不規(guī)則變化常見的有：good/well—better

many/much—morebad/badly—worse

far—farther(further)（4）以“輔音字母＋y”結尾的雙音節(jié)詞，先變“y”

easy—easier（5）多音節(jié)和部分雙音節(jié)詞在其前加more構成比較級。eg：outgoing—moreoutgoing形容詞比較級不規(guī)則變化口訣：“倆好”（good/well）是better；“倆多”（many/much）是more。“壞/病”（bad/ill）是worse；“老/遠”（old/far）變化有兩個。考點2用法基本用法：考向一表示兩者（人或事物）的比較。在含有“比較級＋than”的句型中，當than前后所使用的動詞相同時，通常用助動詞代替后面的動詞。該動詞或助動詞可以省略。eg：DeanistallerthanMike（is）.迪安比邁克高。HeworksmuchharderthanI（do）.他比我工作努力得多。【難點】特殊用法：

（1）“比較級＋and＋比較級”或“moreandmore＋原級（多音節(jié)和部分雙音節(jié)詞）”意為“越來越……”。eg：Thelittlegirlismoreandmorebeautiful.

這個小女孩越來越漂亮了。（2）當表示“……是兩者中更……的”時，常用“the＋比較級＋ofthetwo”結構，定冠詞the不可缺少。eg：LiuLiisthetallerofthetwo.劉麗是這兩個人中較高的。
