healthyonesuccessleaddependHappinessisimportantforeveryone.Mostpeoplewanttobehappy,butfewknowhowtofindhappiness.Moneyand1.a(chǎn)lonedonotbringlastinghappiness.Happiness2.onourselves.The3.secretofhappinessistoenjoythesimplethingsinlife.Youshouldenjoylife’ssimplepleasuresuchasreadingagoodbook,listeningtoyourfavoritemusicorspendingtimewithclosefriends.Peoplewhohaveseveralgoodfriendstendtolive4.a(chǎn)ndhappierlives.Thesecondsecretto5.a(chǎn)happylifeistobeactive.Manypeopleexperiencethisbydancing,orplayingasport.Youcanforgetaboutyourproblems,andonlythinkabouttheactivity.Finally,manypeoplefindhappinessinhelpingothers.Accordingtostudies,peoplefeelgoodwhentheyvolunteertheirtimetodomanymeaningfulthingsforotherpeople.Ifyouwanttofeelhappier.(二)truebreakgrowbecauselittleAmanwalkingthroughanelephantcampwassurprisedtofindthattheelephantsweretiedbyasmallpieceofrope.Whydidn’ttheelephantsjustusetheirpowerto6.theropeandrunaway?Wantingtoknowthe7.,heaskedatrainernearbywhyitwasso.“Whentheywereveryyoungandmuchsmaller,weusedthesamesizeofropetotiethem,andatthatage8.up,theystillbelievedthattheycouldn’tbreakaway.Evennow,theybelievetheropecanstillcontrolthem9.couragetotrytobreakfree,”thetraineranswered.Themanwasspeechless.Howmanyofusareliketheelephants—believingthatitwasbeyond(超越)ourabilitytodosomethingonly10.wefailedonceorsometimesbefore?Failureispartoflearning.Ifwefailatsomething,wecanstillgetsomethingfromit.Weshouldkeepontryingwithconfidenceourselvesevenafterwehavefailedinlife. DealwithexamstressItisnormaltofeelabitworriedaboutexams,especiallyifyou’reunderpressurefromschoolorfamily.Examstresscancauseyoutofeelnervousordepressed(沮喪的),andthismightinfluenceyoursleepingof11.(eat)habits.Ifyouhaveanyofthese12.(feel)orareworriedthatexampressureistakingoveryourlife,youarenotalone.Herearesomethingsyoucando.Firstly,letyourtrustedfriendsandfamilyknowifyou’rehaving13.hardtime,sotheycanbetheretosupportyou,encourageyouandofferalisteningear.Youdon’thavetogothroughthisalone.Keepingitallinwillonlymakethingsworse,14.don’tbeafraidtoopenup.Secondly,thinkaboutallthepracticalsupportyouneed,andbehonestwithyourselfaboutit.You15.(allow)toask,forhelp.Tellyourteachersaboutyourworries.Theymayhavetalkedtolotsofstudents16.a(chǎn)regoingthroughsimilarthings,sotheycangiveyousome17.(help)advice.Lastbutnotleast,bekindincludesyourself.Thinkaboutallthethingsyouhaveachievedsofar.Itcanbehelpfultowritealistofallthethingsyoulikeabout18.,andthethingsotherpeoplevalueaboutyoutoo.Ifpeoplearoundyou-likeyourparents-areputtingpressureonyou,itcanhelptotellthem19.youfeelabletoachieve,andletthemknowthatyourexpectations(預(yù)期)aredifferentfrom20.(they).Youcanalsotalktoateacheryoutrustaboutthepressureyouareunderathome. LastnightoneofmyChinesefriendstookmetoaconcertofChinesefolkmusic.Thepiecewhichwasplayedontheerhumovedme21.(deep).Themusicwasstrangelybeautiful,butunderthebeautyIsensedastrongsadnessandpain.Thepiecehad22.simplename,ErquanYinyue(MoonReflectedonSecondSpring),butitwasoneofthemostmoving23.(piece)ofmusicthatI’veeverheard.Theerhu24.(sound)sosadthatIalmostcried.Themusic25.(write)byAbing,afolkmusicianwhowasborninthecityofWuxiin1893.Hismotherdied26.hewasveryyoung.Abing’sfathertaughthimtoplaymanymusicalinstruments,suchasthedrums,dizianderhu,andbyage17,Abingwasfamous27.hismusicalability.However,afterhisfatherdied,Abing’slifegreweven28.(bad).Hewasverypoor.Notonlythat,hedevelopedaseriousillnessandbecameblind.Helivedonthestreetsandplayedmusic29.(make)money.Abing’samazingmusicalskillsmadehimverypopular.Bytheendofhislife,hecouldplayover600piecesofmusic.ManyofthesewerewrittenbyAbing30.(he).Itisapitythatonlysixpiecesofmusicwererecordedforthefutureworldtohear. YuanLongping,theworld-famousChineseagronomist,knownfordevelopingthefirsthybridricestrains(雜交水稻),diedofillnessat13:07BJTonSaturday31.theageof91.Yuanspenthiswholelifeontheresearchofhybridrice32.helpedChinaworkagreatwonder—feedingnearlyone33.(five)oftheworld’spopulationwithlessthan9percentoftheworld’stotalland.Yuaninventedtheworld’sfirsthigh-yieldinghybridricestrain34.(success)in1973,whichcouldreachayield(產(chǎn)量)ofover500kg/mufromtheprevious300kg/mu.Forthenextfortyyears,he35.(continue)toresearchandachievedhigherandhigheryield.In1996,theChinesegovernments
