TheStateTheatrehasbeeninvestinginthenextgenerationofmoviegoersformorethan120years.

Since1897,IowaresidentshavesharedacommunalexperienceattheStateTheatre,anditremainsanirreplaceablepartofthecommunity.

WhilethehistorybehindTheStateTheatreisincredible,theteamthatrunstheday-to-dayoperations–FridleyTheatres,anIowa-basedchainwith97screensand17locations–isn’trelyingsolelyonitshistoryas

themaindraw.ThetheatreregularlypartnerswiththeChamberof

Commerceforevents:thispastfall,theycollaboratedonaHalloween
