suchsuchsosuchsuch...that作“如此……以至于”解，連接結(jié)果狀語從句。(結(jié)果狀語從句是用來補(bǔ)充說明主句動作發(fā)生所帶來的結(jié)果。)和so...that意思相同，但是用法不同。so是副詞，后面可加形容詞和副詞：so+adj./adv.+thatclausee.g.Itissonicethatwecangooutforapicnic.天氣如此好，以至于我們可以外出野餐。BUsingso/such...that...而such是限定詞，后面要加名詞或名詞詞組，名詞前面可以帶形容詞，也可以不帶。such+noun/nounphrases+thatclausee.g.Itissuchanicedaythatwecangooutforapicnic.今天是如此好的一天，以至于我們可以外出野餐。注意：如果such后面的名詞前由many,much,few,little等詞所修飾的話，則不用such而用so。e.g.Hehadsolittleeducationthathewasunfitforthisjob.他所受教育很少，不適合這個工作。Weuseanadjectiveoranadverbbetweensoandthat.Weuseanounphrasebetweensuchandthat.rulesothat引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句,(目的狀語從句用以說明主句動作發(fā)生的目的。)其從句中的謂語動詞通常和情態(tài)動詞can,may,will,might,would,could,should等情態(tài)動詞連用,而且主句和從句之間不使用逗號。sothat意為“以便,為了,使能夠”，可以與inorderthat相替換。CUsingsothatso…that…引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句,意為“如此……以至于……”,句中的so可以修飾形容詞，此結(jié)構(gòu)可轉(zhuǎn)換為such(+a/an)+adj.+n.+that...的結(jié)構(gòu)。e.g.Thisbookissointerestingthateveryonewantstoreadit. 這本書很有趣,人人都想看看。HeransofastthatIcouldn’tcatchupwithhim.他跑得那么快,我沒趕上他。sothat句型也可以用來引導(dǎo)結(jié)果
