1、Unit 11 Could you please tell me where the restrooms are ?第一課時 單元分析與提示教學目標語言目標:1、了解一些國家的飲食起居、生活習慣和文化異同,并用學習的知識表達自己對生活習慣的看法。2、掌握一些與禮節(jié)、就餐等相關(guān)的詞和詞組。3、加強對外國風俗和了解,擴大知識面。認知目標1、掌握的詞匯和目標語言be supposed to do; shake hands (with); drop by; should have done sth; a bit; make plans to do sth/for sthafter all; pick
2、up; point at, point to, point out的用法;thanks for的用法; except, besides, but的用法區(qū)別;most, mostly, the most的用法區(qū)別;be used to do sthused to do sth, be used to do sth, be/get used to sth/doing sth的用法2、學習感嘆句、表語從句及非限制性定語從句情感目標本單元以談論“習俗“為話題,了解各地不同的文化知識,從而讓學生知道哪些是應該做的,哪些是不應該做的,要學會尊重不同的文化,養(yǎng)成良好的行為習慣,培養(yǎng)學生的學習興趣。教學重、難
3、點感嘆句常見的感嘆句有兩種句式:1、What a/an + adj. + n.(單數(shù))+主語+謂語部分!What + adj. + n.(復數(shù))+ 主語+謂語部分!What + adj. + n. (不可數(shù))+ 主語 + 謂語部分!2、How + adj./adv. +主語 + 謂語部分!What a clever boy Tom is!What beautiful flowers they got!How quickly Lucy is running !注: How I wish to see you !我多么希望見到你??!How they want to go there !他們多想去那
4、兒呀!非限制性定語從句This is because they come from a computer program called ICQ, which means I seek you.句中which means I seek you屬于非限制性定語從句。非限制性定語從句對所修飾的名詞沒有限制意義的作用,而只是補充一點情況,與主句關(guān)系不是很密切,把它們?nèi)サ糁骶湔諛映闪ⅲ鼈兒退揎椀拿~之間常加一個逗號。常見的關(guān)系代詞有which, who, whose, whom。Mr. Li, who came to see me yesterday, is an old friend of min

T answer: NoS say: Thats right. Its not a good idea to come to class late. Youre not su
7、pposed to come to class late.版書:come to school late寫在wrong的下面學生可能會說出:eat in class, do homework everyday, rise ones hand before talking等等。同時引出:Youre supposed to do your homework every day.等句型。2、Presentation 出示一幅世界地圖,提問學生每個國家的位置:T: Do you know where Brazil is? 引導學生回答:1) Brazil is in South America, nex
8、t to Peru;2) The United States is in North America, next to Canada.3) Japan is in East Asia, to the east of China;4) Mexico is in North America, on the south of America.5) Korea is in East Asia. Its our neighbor.T: Do you know what people do when they meet for the first time?引出本節(jié)課的學習目標。3、Teaching an
9、d Practice(1) 學生看書本上1a的插圖,根據(jù)圖畫內(nèi)容,讓學生說說圖畫中的握手、接吻、鞠躬是屬于哪些國家的禮儀,然后,按要求把書本給出的“國家”和“習俗”聯(lián)系起來。(2) 1b,聽力訓練。首先,幫助學生明確本題要求。Now listen to the recording and check your answers to activity 1a. 接著,聽力練習,學生根據(jù)聽到的錄音內(nèi)容檢查自己在1a的答案,介紹本單元的目標語言be supposed to do sth.(3) 1c兩人小組活動。讓學生運用剛剛學習的目標語言,談論不同國家的人初次見面的禮儀、包括錄音里聽到的,和他們自己
10、知道的。4. Consolidation and Extension任務一:瑪麗亞做錯了什么?利用2a和2b的聽力材料,訓練學生的聽力。老師說:Maria is an exchange student. Last night she had dinner at an American friends house. Listen and check the mistakes Maria made.朗讀Grammar Focus中的句子,進一步向?qū)W生講解本單元的目標語言。Homework 1、根據(jù)2a和2b的材料,以“瑪麗亞做錯了什么”為題目,寫一段話?2、熟記本課所掌握的單詞。3、用目標語言be
11、 supposed to造句。Unit 12 第三課時Teaching aims1、能熟練地表達問路和為他人指明方向;2、能通過閱讀對所去的地方進行評價;3、引導學生正確利用業(yè)余時間,提高對公共場所地位置的認識;4、學會運用Do you know where I can? Could you tell me how to ? Can you please tell me where I ?等句型Teaching of new lesson1. Reading and practice通過閱讀使學生更好地使用目標語言。(1) 版書:advantages disadvantages,請學生用他們自
12、己的話或舉例解釋這個詞的意思。What are some advantages and disadvantages to owning a car ?(2) 學生朗讀短文,把去商業(yè)區(qū)的利弊列出來,培養(yǎng)學生搜集信息,歸類信息的能力。 Reading the instructions. Help students give example of advantages and disadvantages from their own lives. Point out the blanks lines under the words Advantages and Disadvantages below
13、 the interview. Say, you will write your answers in these blanks. Read the first two sentences at the top of the article. explain that the interviewer will talk to several teenagers. Ask students to read the interview on their own. Then ask students to read the interview again and write the advantag
14、es and disadvantages.(3) 講解課文,強調(diào)本單元的目標語言。同時檢查學生的答案。最后讓學生聽錄音,模仿朗讀課文。(通過閱讀,培養(yǎng)學生理解課文,獲取信息的能力)2. Consolidation and Extension任務一:你在什么地方打發(fā)時光?讓學生四人一組進行討論,你經(jīng)常和你的朋友到什么地方閑逛。用Where do you usually hang out with friends? At your house? At school? At a mall? 讓他們進行討論,對去每一個地方的利弊進行辯論,并說出自己的理由。任務二:方向大挑戰(zhàn)向?qū)W生提供一張本地地圖或一張
15、村示意圖,學生四人小組活動,學生先把自己想去的地方寫在一張紙上,其中一個學生按指定的出發(fā)地點,說自己要走的線路,其他同學猜他要去的地方,猜對的同學得5分,依次輪流說出自己要走的路線,看誰分數(shù)最高。Homework1、翻譯句子(1) 你能告訴我在哪兒可以買些書寫用的紙嗎?(2) 你能告訴我怎樣去郵局嗎?(3) 在第三層有一間書店。(4) 乘坐電動扶梯到第二層,然后右轉(zhuǎn)。2、熟讀3a的對話3、復習已經(jīng)學習過的形容詞。4、寫一段短文,描寫從車站到你們學校的路如何走最近。Unit 12 第四課時Teaching aims1、熟練地掌握問路和指路的對話;2、掌握描寫景物的形容詞及描寫某地品質(zhì)的形容詞Te

Teaching and Practice教學1a把1a中的形容詞和表格版書,學生朗讀方框中的形容詞,說說那些是會的那些是不會的,對學生不會的進行解釋。指導學生填寫表格,讓學生說說自己的答案。(1) Go through the instructions with the class.(2) Read the words in the box to the class and ask if there are any of these words that students dont understand. If so, h
18、elp students to explain the meaning of the word.(3) Then read the instructions again and point out the sample answer to the class. Point out that students can also write other words after the word clean.(4) Ask students to write words from the box in the blanks on their own. Help students if needed.

Reading and Writing.(1) 閱讀3a,學生第一次快速閱讀,掌握短文大意。第二次朗讀課文,并完成表格,教師與學生校正答案,對學生的練習進行評改。講解課文中的難點,然后提問兩個學生朗讀短文,并對學生的朗讀進行評價,對存在的發(fā)音錯誤,及時糾正,使學生養(yǎng)成良好的讀書習慣。播放短文錄音,讓學生模仿朗讀。(2) 寫作3b 開心好玩到Sunville。a. 先讓學生看書本
