3、Band, whose frontman Zac Brown wrote it, for the 2005 albumHome Grown. The song has also been placed at number 39 for theTaste of Countrys “Top 100 Country Songs of all Time” chart.(二)Telling Apart1. Help Ss practice the pronunciation of the phonetic sounds: 2. Read the proverbs and sayings and prac

Read new words, phrases and expressions, and proper names. 2. Listening exercises: simple se

5、ntences, conversations and a passage.3. Watch a video about an “Automatic Restaurant” in Nuremberg, Germany.l Explain each new word, phrase and proper name with one example sentence presented in PPT.l When doing exercises, tell Ss to read the four choices in advance;pay attention to the importance o

6、f grammatical coherence.l Watch the video and try to answer the following questions presented in PPT.(四)Opening Your Mouth1. Read new words, phrases and expressions, and proper names.2. Reading exercises: 4 short conversations and 2 longer ones.3. Act out the conversations and then make up their own

7、 conversations in the given situations.l Explain each new word, phrase and proper name with one example sentence presented in PPT.l Play the recording and ask Ss to read after it. l Divide Ss into small groups to act out the conversations according to the pictures or clues.(五)Talking Together 1. Act

8、 out the pictures in Task 1 with partners.2. Make their own conversations with their partners.3. Watch a video about a teacher who teaches riding for the disabled in “The Pony Centre”. From the video, Ss could learn how the teacher shows her likes.l Let Ss act out their own conversations more freely
