八年級英語外研社（新標準）（三年級起點）Module 3 Journey to space課程目標一、學習目標學生基本把握本課的重點單詞（有關宇宙類的單詞）和短語的用法；進一步了解完成時的用法，通過課文深入理解。二、重點、難點繼續(xù)學習完成時的相關表達方法；通過宇宙類單詞的學習，了解記單詞的一些方法。知識梳理一、重點單詞【單詞學習】1. discover v. 發(fā)現(xiàn)【用法】discover指發(fā)現(xiàn)客觀存在的事物?！纠洹縎o have they discovered life on Mars?那么他們在火星上發(fā)現(xiàn)生命了嗎？【拓展】discover是在cover這個詞的基礎上加上了一個表示否定的前綴“dis”，用法類似的還有：disabledisadvantagedisagreelife是名詞“生命”，復數(shù)形式是lives，這個形式大家還可以在live的三單中見到：She lives in Beijing.（居住）The doctors saved a lot of lives during the war.（生命）【考題鏈接】請根據(jù)構詞法猜測下面單詞的含義：disbelievedisapprovediscontinue答案：不信，不同意，中止思路分析：根據(jù)單詞構造的特點很容易得到答案。2. information n. 信息【用法】information是不可數(shù)名詞，泛指消息。因此“一條消息”應該是a piece of information?！纠洹縃ow can I get information on space travel?我怎么才能得到關于太空旅行的消息呢？【拓展】news同樣也是不可數(shù)名詞，多指新聞事件?！耙粭l新聞”應該是a piece of news；message則是手寫或談話類的消息，為可數(shù)名詞。【考題鏈接】請用news，information和message填空來源:1.
