Because it allows people to get closer to them.to get closer to them在句中作賓語補(bǔ)足語，類似的結(jié)構(gòu)有很多，例如： ask sb. to do sth. 請求某人做某事 need sb. to do sth. 需要某人做某事 want sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事 allow sb. to do sth. 允許某人去做某事e.g. His father doesnt allow him_（play）football before he finishing his homework.課文中還出現(xiàn)了這樣一句話：Many wild animals dont have a safe place to live 表示“有安全的居住地”。這里的不定式還是作賓語補(bǔ)足語嗎？請同學(xué)們思考。to live放在名詞place的后面做定語。4. because villages and farms are growing bigger and are taking away their land and forests. take away 表示“奪去，拿走”。代詞要放在中間。e.g. Please take away your things.請把你的東西拿走。 Please tske _ away. 請把它拿走。五. 反饋檢測：（1）我有很多作業(yè)要做。_ (2) We plan _(visit) the Great Wall.
