Greet the Ss and make a brief self-introduction. 2. Show a picture of a weather report and introduce the new unit . Step 2 Presentation (About 4 minutes) ( Show some pictures of the weather and places) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is and guess the places. Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. Step 3 Practice (About 10 minutes)1. Play a game.(踩地雷）2.Finish the word spelling exercise on page 82 （學(xué)案上）3.Ask the students to match the words with pictures in 1a. Then check the answers. Step 4 Listening (About 4minutes)1. Now, well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 2. Check the answers.
