1、牛津高中英語教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì) 單 元: Unit 3 Amazing people 板 塊: Welcome to the unitThoughts on the design:本節(jié)課是以聽、說為主的口語教學(xué)課??谡Z教學(xué)不僅要做到語言的“輸入” ,更要強(qiáng)調(diào) 語言的“輸出” ,要充分調(diào)動(dòng)起學(xué)生對本單元話題的興趣,使學(xué)生“有話可說、有話會(huì)說” 。 教材由四幅圖畫和三個(gè)討論題組成。 首先通過圖片展示了四位古今中外的 “ amazing people”, 熟悉的人物能夠激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,讓他們“有話可說” 。三個(gè)討論話題則引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)一步思 考這些杰出人士所做的貢獻(xiàn)以及他們對社會(huì)的影響, 并讓學(xué)生通過小組活動(dòng)來展
2、示自己心目 中的英雄、描述他們的事跡。進(jìn)而讓學(xué)生總結(jié)出這些人物的共同點(diǎn),引出“amazing people ”的定義。最后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生樹立“做一個(gè)對社會(huì)有貢獻(xiàn)的人”的理想,達(dá)到德育滲透的目的。整 堂課密切圍繞話題, 將一些有深度的話題穿插在圖片討論中, 通過各種活動(dòng)調(diào)動(dòng)每個(gè)學(xué)生積 極參與,使他們“有話會(huì)說” ,并為下一步的閱讀課做好充分的熱身準(zhǔn)備。Teaching aims:After a discussion about the four pictures, the students will be able to talk about some amazing people and their
3、 achievements. Then they will be encouraged to express their opinions about who they consider heroes/ heroines. At last, the students will get a better understanding of amazing people and come to know that they will succeed as long as they work hard. During the whole procedures, the students are exp
4、ected to practise their spoken English and share opinions with others by actively participating in the designed activities.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Lead inA guessing game: Give the students a description of some people and let them guess who they are. 8、ats what we are going to discuss today.Explanation教師通過競猜人名的形式向?qū)W生展示一些他們?nèi)粘I钪惺煜さ呐枷瘢?充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的 學(xué)習(xí)熱情和興趣, 寓教于樂。 在歡快的氣氛中, 引發(fā)學(xué)生思考什么樣的人才能稱之為 “ amazing people”,從而自然地引出本堂課中四幅圖畫所描繪的四個(gè)amazing people”。Step 2 Presentation1. 11、 to the peace of the world. From the age of 18 she worked in India to help the poor. For more than 30 years she took care of people in need. She was awarded by the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. In 2003, she was given the name of Blessed Teresa. She was loved by people in India. It ssaid that after she
12、died, about 400 important people paid final respect to her. Liste n to a part of a speech by Mother Teresa and fill in the bla nks accord ing to it. (He ope ned up relati ons betwee n China and the outside world) Explanation在課前教師讓學(xué)生做好充分的準(zhǔn)備工作,主要是借助Internet”查閱關(guān)于四個(gè)“amazingpeople”的一些基本資料,這樣學(xué)生在課堂上就有話可說。在介紹四個(gè)人物的時(shí)候也利用多 種形式在激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣的同時(shí)也擴(kuò)充了
18、他們的課外知識(shí),提高了他們的綜合能力。如在介紹“ Mother Teresa ”的時(shí)候,添加了她在獲得諾貝爾和平獎(jiǎng)的頒獎(jiǎng)儀式上的一段演說,讓學(xué)生 做缺詞填空的聽力練習(xí)。在介紹四個(gè)人物的時(shí)候沒有簡單地按照書上給出的順序排列,而是根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)規(guī)律,將學(xué)生特別感興趣的、有話題討論的安排在后面,按“詞-句-段-篇”的順序訓(xùn)練學(xué)生說的能力。介紹完四個(gè)人物之后,給出幾個(gè)問題供學(xué)生討論,問題設(shè)置有一定的梯度,力求讓不同層次的學(xué)生都有話可說。Step 3 Sharing information1.
