25、lem in big cities is one of the most serious problems which face us at present. Though it has aroused the concern of an increasing number of people, the condition is still far from being satisfactory. And it is urgent for us to take effective steps to solve this problem. There are many ways to solve

26、 this problem. Some suggest we build high buildings, and others propose we open up underground housing areas. Between the two, I am in favor of the first idea and against the latter one. This is because the first one is more practical, easier to carry out and less expensive. Modern science and techn
