1、module 12 teaching plancontent:module 12 a holiday journey 一、 題材內容本模塊以假期旅行為話題,主要展現(xiàn)的是對旅行經過和參觀地點進行描述的表達方式,同時出現(xiàn)了不規(guī)則動詞的過去式。語法重點是含有不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去時句子的用法。閱讀課文以電子郵件的形式呈現(xiàn),貼近生活,又很新穎,通過操練,使學生在掌握一些不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式的同時,既感悟語言功能,又能熟練談論自己和他人過去的旅行生活。該話題為學生所熟知,非常有利于開展聽、說、讀、寫方面的語言實踐活動。本模塊的learningtolearn欄目讓學生發(fā)現(xiàn)熟練掌握不規(guī)則動詞的過去式是個不小
2、的挑戰(zhàn)。around the world欄目讓學生了解異域風光,提高學習興趣。教學中教師應隨時隨地以課本為出發(fā)點,靈活利用各種素材組織教學過程和內容。充分調動學生的積極性。教學目標1) 語言知識:語音不規(guī)則動詞的過去式的讀音及一般過去式特殊疑問句中實詞的重讀詞匯spend, hope, clock, tomorrow, gran, relax, email詞組on holiday, do some shopping, buy presents, do some sightseeing, have a good time, meet at the airport, swim in the sea
3、, take photos, write postcards語法不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式。功能談論旅行。話題以“假期旅行”為話題。2) 語言技能:聽能聽懂談論旅行經歷的對話. 準確辨別理解句子中不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式說能運用包括不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式的語句談論自己或他人的旅行 讀能讀懂描述旅行經歷的短文,掌握整體理解技能,明白文章中所敘述的時空關系。在閱讀中學會應用尋找細節(jié)的閱讀策略,進行簡單的閱讀技能訓練。寫能用一般現(xiàn)在時和一般過去式敘述自己的經歷,掌握電子郵件的書寫格式。演示與表達 能向同學們介紹自己的假期旅行。3)學習策略學習一定程度形成自主學習,有效交際、信息處理、英語思維能力。認知聯(lián)系
4、,歸納,推測等技能。觀察并記憶不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式,提高自學能力。調控從同伴處得到反饋,對自己在敘述及作文中的錯誤進行修改交際學習運用恰當詞語簡單談論自己或他人的旅行。資源通過其他資源獲取更多有關“假期旅行”的簡單英語。自學策略能夠運用觀察、發(fā)現(xiàn)、歸納和實踐等方法學習語言知識,感悟語言功能。能嘗試通過上下文猜測詞義的學習策略。合作學習策略積極參與談論自己感興趣的話題, 同時又要尊重對方, 給別人談話的機會, 互相學習,取長補短,注意學習策略共享 。4)文化意識:中外對比通過課文中對洛杉磯和倫敦的描述了解英美文化,從而拓展視野,激發(fā)學習英語的興趣。5)情感態(tài)度:通過體驗和分享旅行的快樂,培養(yǎng)對
5、不同文化的興趣 及熱愛生活、享受生活的樂觀態(tài)度。參加各種英語活動,克服困難,在新環(huán)境中進一步樹立準確的語言學習觀。6)任務:能夠運用不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式談論自己或他人的旅行。教學重點和難點 重點:1掌握談論旅行的基本詞匯,讀懂含有不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式的句子,掌握一些不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式用法。難點: 掌握一些不規(guī)則動詞的一般過去式。教學方法基于課程改革的理念及“第二語言習得論”,培養(yǎng)實現(xiàn)人的可持續(xù)發(fā)展和人的主體精神的自我完善和發(fā)展所必需的能力和素質,運用任務型教學途徑,圍繞核心任務,設定小任務,開展和諧愉悅的課堂活動,強調興趣第一的原則,初步設計“ptp”自主學習立體模式:pre-task
6、task-cyclepost-task。二、 教材處理核心任務:能夠運用電子郵件形式向朋友介紹自己的假期旅行經歷。三個環(huán)節(jié)如下:pre-task:學生聯(lián)系生活實際,激活背景知識,。task cycle:通過整個模塊的聽說讀寫的訓練,強化對“假期旅行”的表達能力,為完成任務做好鋪墊post-task:達成任務,展示成果,反饋學習情況三、 教材安排根據學生學習英語的特點和規(guī)律,我們把本模塊劃分為4課時:period 1: vocabulary and listening &pronunciation and speakingperiod 2: reading and vocabulary peri
7、od 3: writing& around the world &module taskperiod 4: language in use注:教學時應根據學生的學習水平、生活實際水平、接受程度及課堂出現(xiàn)的臨時狀況進行運用、調整及篩選。教學設計 module 12 a holiday journeyperiod 1: vocabulary and listening &pronunciation and speakingteaching content: vocabulary and listening and pronunciation and speaking teaching aims a

10、d in the last module. directions: step one: label the pictures with the phrases.(1). read through the phrases in the box and have the ss. repeat them after you. (2).ask them to label them in the pictures on the screen. (3).make some sentences with the phrases. ask students to speak out as many as th
11、ey can.(4). have a competition speaking out the words. ask students to speak out as many as they can. step two: talk about the life of a national heroask students to speak out as many as they can. eg.what did you think of the film?when did he work on it?where did the railway start?where did it finis
12、h?when did he die? etc. part ii: lead in: task 1: introduce to them the new mords.directions:step one: introduce the new words of this unit. and list them on the board.step two: read after the teacher.step three: practise reading the words.step four: ask the students to look at the pictures. elicit
13、what they can see. if there are any new words, add them to the list on the board.step five: make some sentences using the new words from the whole class. task 2: introduce to them the past simple irregular words.directions:step one. explain to the ss that although there are many common verbs in engl
14、ish which have the regular past simple form( elicit some example: work, walk, talk, play), many of the most frequently used verbs are irregular. step two: tell them that this mean that they have to learn them individually , because they are all different. step three: put up some of the common verbs,
15、 as follows: be -was/ were do -did eat- ate go-went have- had leave- left make- made meet- met see-saw spend -spent swim - swam take - took and so on.step four: read them through, and have the ss. repeat them after you, chorally and individually. task 3: find these places on the map directions:step
16、one. read out the names of the places and have the students repeat them after you. step two: ask the students to find these places on the mapstep three: talk about the map using the phrases such as “on the coast”, and “ north/ east/ west/ south/ north”. eg. where is? what do you know about ?part iii
17、: listening1. task: listen and follow bettys journey in activity 2 on page 74. directions:step one: play the recording and have them listen to the recording and focus on the route in their books.step two: play the recording again for them to check with a partner.step three: play the recording again
18、for them to check. then call back the answer from the whole class.2.task: to listen and understand conversations .directions:step one: the teacher says: today were going to listen to a conversation between tony and lingling and betty. theyre talking about their travel. listen and answer the question
