5、ll you the truth now.正:I want to tell you the truth now.說(shuō)明:want, like, prefer等屬于人的情感動(dòng)詞,沒(méi)有進(jìn)行時(shí)、將來(lái)時(shí)、完成時(shí)。一般只用于現(xiàn)在時(shí)或過(guò)去時(shí)。誤區(qū)三:不理解句型結(jié)構(gòu)。如:我們一直盼望著的那一天終于來(lái)到了。誤:The day we had been looking forward to coming at last.正:The day we had been looking forward to came at last.說(shuō)明:此句錯(cuò)誤原因是對(duì)句型結(jié)構(gòu)不理解,came為謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞。又如:承認(rèn)自己的錯(cuò)誤并不可恥。誤

6、:There is nothing to be ashamed in confessing ones errors.正:There is nothing to be ashamed of in confessing ones errors.說(shuō)明:誤句中不定式是nothing的定語(yǔ),在意義上nothing又是不定式的賓語(yǔ)。因此需要用to be ashamed of短語(yǔ)。比較:1) Its nothing to be proud of.這不值得驕傲。2) Dont cry. There is nothing to worry about.別哭,這沒(méi)有什么可擔(dān)心的。又如,我們已經(jīng)把意見(jiàn)告訴他了。誤:

7、We have informed him our opinions.正:We have informed him of our opinions.說(shuō)明:表示告訴某人某事,不能說(shuō)inform somebody something,應(yīng)說(shuō)inform somebody of something,這是inform的句型要求。比較:I have to inform you that I shall leave the city next Friday.我得告訴你我下星期得離開(kāi)這個(gè)城市。說(shuō)明:inform somebody之后接that clause就不用of,但必須先接somebody才能再接從句,否則
