Under the circumstance of todays education, English has been an important part on a substantial scale. The development of society has made it necessary for us to have a good k

3、nowledge of English, so we cant overemphasize the importance of learning English. In daily teaching, teachers should make sure of learners motivation and interest so that can help them to develop good learning habits. But in fact, there have many difficulties in real life. Thats why I make this thes

4、is. I wish all of the parents, elementary school students and English teachers can get new ideals and find the proper methods to teach English well from it. Nowadays, the focus that English teaching is seriously undermined. English language teaching in primary schools is not in the same position wit

5、h Chinese and Math, not only parents but also students didnt attach more importance to English study. Furthermore, Students lost a better learning environment to experience the beauty of English, so they arent interested in it.English learning is very difficult for primary school students and teache

6、rs and has become a key issue for researchers to find out the main factors influencing the students learning results. The result of the investigation was reported as started above.So, under this hard circumstance, if the English teachers want to improve the teaching quality, in my opinion, they must

7、 put effort into English class. But how to do that best? At present, almost everyone believes that English is useless because they wont go abroad, including their children. So the purpose for me to make this survey is to know more of this foreign language. In addition, I want to tell others the adva

8、ntages of learning English. I went to the library to look up interrelated data by going through books and onto the Internet. Then I make out a questionnaire to investigate the specific situation in society. I invite primary school students and English teachers to do the questionnaire and take a long

I am working in the Shanghai XiWai International School now. This sc

10、hool pay much attention to English study and the students oral communicative ability. So each class will have a foreign language teacher to make a better atmosphere to learn English. It bring me new inspiration. This research inquired 300 students and 15 English teachers who comes from the second gr

11、ade to the sixth grade through questionnaire surveys including 20 questions. The feedback of total of 200 questionnaires are obtained and used to conduct empirical study.Unluckily, the process was not smooth and I met many troubles that beyond my expectation. Many students are not willing to waste t

12、ime on it and the teachers regard my questionnaire as useless papers. In spite of it, they are not interested in filling in their answers carefully. From this survey, I understand an old saying that trust is the basic of every trade. After analyzing the questionnaires, I find that the reasons that s

13、tudents cant learn English well are not only lying in their parents impact, but also in their learning atmosphere. But luckily, most students have a strong will to speak English fluently in the future so that they can communicate with foreigners very well. Last but not least, English teaching in pri

14、mary school has a bright future as long as we can achieve improvement in English class in quality. On the advantages of allowing children to start learning English early, 80 percent of the parents said better English ability will promise better job opportunities. Also, 60 percent of the parents and

15、teachers believed that the governments education policy has the greatest influence on the younger generation. Finally, I hope all the English learners should choose the proper methods and strategies to promote English learning efficiency and acquisition effect according to the different levels. And

16、to be honest, it would not be possible for me to complete the thesis without the generous help of many. I also want to thank all the teachers and lovely students in the XiWai for their beneficial courses I have attended during my internship and help me to finish my questionnaires so that I can have enough time for this thesis writing.問卷調查報告現如今小學英語并沒有與語文、數學放在同等重要的位置,尤其是我們的教育對象學生及其家

18、長,對英語的重視程度還不夠。勢力單薄的英語教師群體要想提高自己的教學質量,需要做大量的艱難的工作,付出很多難以預料的努力,在所有的工作中,我認為最應該抓的就是課堂教學,課堂教學是我們英語教學的主戰(zhàn)場。但是,由于目前英語教師剛剛接觸新教材,缺乏獨攬全局分析教材的能力,不能再充分利用教材的文字、聲音、情景、語境等多位一體,對相關教材內容的缺乏中西方文化的滲透,不利于誘發(fā)學生興趣。因此,做這個調研的目的,是為了引發(fā)教師們的思考。調查目的了解小學英語課堂教學的情況,以及小學英語課堂教學存在的弊端;小學英語課堂教學未來的發(fā)展;對有效教學的理解和教學行為的梳理;小學英語教學的主要成效。二調查對象小學三到六

19、年級的全部學生,以及英語教師。三調查內容圍繞英語學習興趣,英語課堂形式進行分析,進而了解學生的學習現狀。這次調查采用問卷的形式,問卷內容主要涉及到噓聲對待英語的學習態(tài)度,課堂形式,作業(yè)形式等方面,以及對英語課堂教學的建議和要求。四調查方式 本次問卷采用匿名答題,要求學生和教師客觀回答,當場填寫,當場收回。五調查結果與分析 通過對回收問卷逐項統計,可以看到學生對英語課堂的看法與期待,與各位英語教師分享,希望能夠讓他們有新的靈感和啟發(fā)。(1)大多數學生對英語感興趣。(2)學生喜歡的課堂形式多樣。第3題,你最喜歡那種形式的教學類型,其中50%的學生都選擇在教師的指導下,由學生自學來獲取新知識;30%

20、希望通過師生共同參與學習、實踐以獲得新知識;而只有20%是希望通過教師的講授以獲取新知。(3)學生對“自主學習、合作交流、小組展示”課堂模式都持贊同態(tài)度。(4)對于英語課堂的學習方式學生也喜歡多樣性,比如選擇角色表演的占了86.5%,其中討論占57%,教師講解占40%。(5)學生對于影響自己學習效果的看法也不同。其中,20%的學生認為是老師的說話速度、語言的組織和清晰度;38%的學生認為是老師的教學方法和手段;32%的學生認為是課堂的學習氣氛;其中還有10%的學生認為是自己的心情。(6)學生期待的英語作業(yè)形式多樣。有20%的學生期待是抄寫作業(yè);有53%的學生希望是朗讀背誦任務;還有27%的學生

21、希望是創(chuàng)編對話、辦手抄報。(7)學生期待的英語課堂,在最后一道問答題學生的回答有討論、互問互答、表演、趣味性強等等。四、思考:1、應著力提高學生學習英語的興趣。趣味性強的方法,就像是開課前的興奮劑,能夠大面積地調動、激發(fā)學生的參與意識,能夠激活學生的思維,使得每一位同學都斗志昂揚地融進課堂。2、應創(chuàng)設真實有效的情境。教學是一項師生共同參與的雙邊活動。教師的一舉一動,都會對學生的學習產生積極或消極的影響。教師應主動與學生建立一種平等、合作的師生關系,尊重每一位學生、用愛的情感激發(fā)學生對知識的渴求和對學習的熱愛。同時在玩中學,做中學,有效地激發(fā)和提高了學生的興趣,以活動為方式,變課堂為生活,促使學

22、生在活動中互相學習,互相幫助,鼓勵學生大膽使用英語,對他們在學習過程中的失誤和錯誤采取寬容的態(tài)度,體驗成就感,發(fā)展合作精神,并且逐步提高自己的綜合語言運用能力。3、應優(yōu)化課堂教學活動設計。單一的教學方法是乏味的。既使是一個好的方法,經常用也就失去了它的魅力。為了激發(fā)學生的興趣,保持學生的興趣,鞏固學生的興趣,教師要認真鉆研教材,不斷地探索,不斷地追求。4. 聯系現實生活的教學內容。只有當學生能用英語談論日常生活中發(fā)生的事情時,他們才會真正感到英語有用。于是作為老師就應該盡量讓英語走進他們的生活。在教學中, 教師要創(chuàng)設多種能激發(fā)學生學習興趣的教學情景,要充分挖掘學生的潛能, 增強學生的參與意識、
