Students will be advised prior to the trip to apply sun protection cream, to wear a hat, and to drink plenty of water throughout the afternoon. Extra water at Monkey Beach checkpoint.3. All students will be advised to wear appropri

6、ate footwear4. Students to be briefed on road crossing and dangers5. Staff to be issued with first aid kits. Medical conditions of students known. RJB to drive own car as safety vehicle. Hospital short drive away. Check made on those needing specific medication. Procedure in the event of an emergenc

7、y is detailed below.6. Students briefed on not going off trail, how to deal with monkeys and the unlikely event of a bite by a venomous animal (Penang General Hospital for snake bites 042225333).7. RJB will walk at the front and trailbeat to scare away snakes, in the unlikely event that there are an

8、y on the trail.8. Mobile phones to contact emergency services in case of bite. Piriton and antihistamine in first aid kit.9. Staff will be provided with insect repellent to issue as appropriate.10. Students informed to stay away from / out of rivers and /or bodies of water.11. Students not to drink

9、from these (unless they boil the water or use purification tablets).12. Students NOT to enter the sea at any stage, especially while at Turtle Beach (Pantai Kerachut).13. RJB to monitor weather forecasts. Staff and students to move quickly to nearest storm shelter if thunder and lightning starts. If

10、 in a forested area, move to shelter under some low trees (not under a lone tall tree). If no shelter, move to the lowest nearby area, discard rucksacks, walking sticks etc. and adopt a low crouch.14. Students and staff advised to listen out for cracking sounds above which may indicate imminent dead
