1、 book 10 unit 4 learning efficientlyreadinghow to become a successful reader 授課時間:2013年10月14日 第2節(jié)授課教師:王夢媚 學生:2013-2014年度嘉積中學高三1班學情分析:高三1班為我校文科尖子班,共有學生55人。學生水平不均衡,兩極差異較大。為了適應高考選拔人才,教案設計為中難水平。很多老師放棄教授book 9 和book 10 ,而我主張運用教材中的新內容復習舊的知識點,以激發(fā)學生的學習興趣、提高學生的英語水平和應試能力,為學生的終生學習打好扎實的基礎。(一)教材分析:本單元的中心話題是“語言學習
2、策略,如何改進聽、說、讀、寫的技能”,內容涉及“如何成為一名成功的閱讀者”、 “你怎樣才能學得更好”、 “適用各類人群的學習技巧”、 “討論閱讀訓練的最佳方法”、 “介紹一種新的學習技巧”、 “提出建議,改進學習方法” 等。語言技能和語言知識都是圍繞這一中心設計的。本堂課學習閱讀部分一篇說明文,話題是“如何成為一名成功的閱讀者”。 內容涉及以下方面:1)多讀、多練習、熟能生巧。 2)享受閱讀練習中的樂趣。 3)學會良好的閱讀方法,即預測閱讀內容、主動閱讀、依閱讀目的確定閱讀方式、學會依據上下文猜測詞義。 4)結論是用適當的方法通過大量的練習,我們就能提高閱讀能力。. teaching aims

4、 the headings and sub-headings for the passages 3. to revise the subjunctive mood ). teaching important points: get the students to know how to be a successful and efficient reader and work out a program to improve their reading. teaching difficult points: enable the students to use the information
5、mentioned in the reading part to evaluate their reading and work out an improvement strategic program. teaching methods:cooperative learning, task-based learning. teaching aids: a computer, a blackboard. teaching procedures: step lead-in1. greetings2. show the students learning goals: . to improve t
6、he learning strategies and reading skills . to be able to write the headings and sub-headings for the passages. to revise the subjunctive mood )step warming-up1. get the students to think about their reasons for learning english and express themselves and make a list of reasons for learning english.

10、nd that their reason for reading the text is to complete comprehending 2. in order to discourage ss from reading in more detail than they need at the end of the exercise, give them a set time ( 3 minutes ) for reading the passage and completing comprehending 2 . advise them not to look up unknown wo
11、rds in their dictionary, but to underline any they cannot work out the meaning for.cautions:please think about the techniques you use when you read different kinds of text. right methods can always help improve the efficiency of solving problems.5. get the students to discuss the answers. spend some

15、rest of readers and lead them into the article? does the writer show any strategies for becoming a good reader? in _ part the techniques are introduced one by one in each parallel paragraph. this can help the students understand that these techniques are of equal importance in becoming a good reader
16、. the last paragraph summarizes the text and responds to the title and strengthens the value of the strategies8. remind the students of the writing style of the text the text is an expository that illustrates the strategies of becoming a good reader. the author analyzes the strategies by citing exam
