1、2.高中英語必修一Unit4Earthquakes中Reading教學(xué)活動設(shè)計一、具體教學(xué)設(shè)計思路通過觀看多媒體圖像、小組合作、觀察、討論等方式,并在課堂上開展大量的“任務(wù)型”活動來讓學(xué)生體驗語言,從而提升學(xué)生綜合運用語言的能力,也通過活動培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)和合作互助的精神,激發(fā)了學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的熱情。在教學(xué)過程中教師應(yīng)注意和研究如何啟發(fā)誘導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極主動地參與教學(xué)活動,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生自學(xué),掌握自學(xué)方法,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生分析問題和解決問題的能力。二教學(xué)過程(一)Warming up第一步:看掛圖了解有關(guān)地震、海嘯等自然災(zāi)害知識,讓學(xué)生結(jié)合看到的內(nèi)容說出描寫自然災(zāi)害的詞匯或詞組:disaster, shake, r
2、ise, burst, steam, ruin, injure, destroy, shock, quake, rescue, survivor第二步:根據(jù)所看到的內(nèi)容介紹,結(jié)合自己對地震知識的了解,進(jìn)行分組活動,讓學(xué)生討論書中的問題,充分發(fā)揮想象力,描述地震后兩個城市可能會出現(xiàn)的情況。(二)Pre-reading任務(wù)一:小組活動第一步:讓同學(xué)們想象如果家鄉(xiāng)發(fā)生地震了,應(yīng)該做些什么?第二步:分小組討論以下話題:(1) Have you ever experienced any natural disaster?(2) Have you ever experienced an earthquak
3、e?(3) Can you describe how terrible an earthquake is?這些問題的設(shè)置目的不在于讓學(xué)生來準(zhǔn)確回答,而是給學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)了一個發(fā)散性思維的空間,讓學(xué)生置身于這一單元所描繪的情景當(dāng)中,才能更加激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。第三步:看掛圖像讓學(xué)生說出圖中是什么自然災(zāi)害。(volcano; fire; typhoon; flood; sandstorm; hailstone; thunderstorm; hurricane, )第四步:介紹有關(guān)唐山大地震的一些背景知識,讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步了解課文內(nèi)容。Tangshan, China, M8.2 Earthquake
4、; On July 28, 1976, at 3:42 am local time, a powerful earthquake registering M8.2 occurred in northeastern China about 95 miles east of Beijing near Tangshan, an industrial city of about 1 million people. Many eyewitnesses said they saw a bright light flash across the sky, which was foll
5、owed by a deafening roar just before the shaking began. Vigorous shaking lasted for several seconds. Strong aftershocks followed and about 18 hours later another powerful M7.6 earthquake struck just outside Tangshan. Buildings that were partially damaged during the first earthquake were wrecked by t
6、he second and many participating in rescue workers were killed. The city was totally destroyed with few buildings left standing. Officially, the Chinese government estimated between 240,000 and 250,000 people were killed with an additional 600,000 injured, making this the most deadly quake in the tw

12、h water: The city _.任務(wù)五:語法學(xué)習(xí)讓學(xué)生重讀課文,查找教材中帶有 that,which,who,whose 的句子。教師可將從句拆分成兩個簡單句,以幫助學(xué)生認(rèn)識定語從句。例如:句子的主句是哪一部分?從句是哪一部分?主句和從句之間有著怎樣的關(guān)系?等等。第六步:小組討論。通過小組討論,讓學(xué)生歸納這些句子之間的共同點,進(jìn)而理解什么是定語從句,定語從句和先行詞之間的關(guān)系,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力。結(jié)論:1. 限制性定語從句: 先行詞 + 關(guān)系詞 + 定語從句 2. 非限制性定語從句:先行詞,關(guān)系詞 + 定語從句(四)Post-reading任務(wù)七:課后練習(xí) (Compreh
