1、牛津英語8A Unit5 Birdwatchers( period 2) 教學設計一 教學背景 本教學設計面對的是初中的學生 。課時一課時。教師準備:不同自然保護區(qū)的圖片,網絡資源,錄音材料和多媒體教學設備。學生準備:收集相關保護區(qū)知識,了解扎龍保護區(qū)得相關內容,預習所學課文。二 設計思路:1.教學內容 :本課時是牛津英語8A的第五單元Birdwatchers第二課時Reading (1)。2教學內容分析:本單元圍繞“觀鳥”這一話題展開多種教學活動。本課時是圍繞自然保護區(qū)展開話題。由于學生在上一課時已學習了多種鳥類的名稱,知道鳥是一種可愛的動物,我們應該保護鳥類,自然引出怎樣保護鳥類這一話題,
2、那就是建立自然保護區(qū),在這一課時將從鳥類自然保護區(qū)來展開學習。第一課時主要是通過閱讀來了解文章意思,通過聽力來獲取信息,在讀、聽文章的過程中學習詞匯.理解文章三 .教學設計理念根據新課程理念,只有樹立以學生發(fā)展為本的思想,全方位、多角度地設計閱讀教學過程,調動學生參與閱讀教學的積極性,英語閱讀課教學才能煥發(fā)生命的活力。本課以鳥類自然保護區(qū)為主要內容,為了能充分發(fā)揮學生的學習興趣,我精心設計了導入,在課前我播放一個女大學生為救一只丹頂鶴而失去生命的故事改編的歌曲,調動了學生閱讀的欲望,從而積極主動地參與到閱讀學習中來。在本課結尾,我播放了趙傳的小小鳥及動畫,引導學生討論怎樣來保護鳥類。本節(jié)課課堂
3、教學設計由易到難,由淺入深,聽讀結合。有助于學生課堂上集中精力,積極思考,主動參與課堂活動,培養(yǎng)學習策略,提高學習效率。四、教學目標:1知識目標:學生能認讀并理解本課詞匯;重點句型。All year round;make more space for farms ; in danger ;understand the importance of the wetlands ;take action to protect wildlifeThe area provides food and shelter for wildlife .This means there will be less an
4、d less space for wildlifeW e need more people to help us count and do something to help the birds .2能力目標:(1)能聽懂本課文的語段,識別主題,獲取主要信息(2 )學生能夠通過閱讀故事,了解扎龍自然保護區(qū)的基本情況,獲取所需信息;3.情感目標 :使學生了解自然保護區(qū),培養(yǎng)關愛自然、保護鳥類的意識,激發(fā)學生學生學習英語興趣,培養(yǎng)小組合作精神。五、教學重、難點: 使學生了解自然保護區(qū)-扎龍,識別并掌握所學重點詞匯、句型。教學難點: 學會用所學詞匯和句型談論扎龍鳥類保護區(qū),如何保護鳥類。六、教學過程
5、: Teaching Procedures Step 1lead-in (Playing a piece of music)T: In welcome to the unit ,we learned a lot of lively birds .but now they are in danger .What should we do to protect them ?Next lets listen to a song .Playing a piece of music called “A girls story .”( it tells us : A girl in order to sa
6、ve a red crowned crane but lost her young life ) After the students listen to the music ,Get the students to talk about the songAsk students questions like this Have you ever heard the song ?( yes /no Introduce the story briefly )Dou you know the birds name ?( a red crowned crane)Dou you want to see
7、 the red crowned cranes? (yes )Ok lets go to a specil place _Zhalong nature reserve to see them.(Teach the words red crowned crane 、nature )Show the picture of Zhalong . 設計意圖:利用女孩徐秀娟為了保護丹頂鶴而犧牲的歌曲,自然引出自然保護區(qū)保護鳥類這一話題,激發(fā)學生閱讀的興趣。 Step2. Fast reading for the main idea1、First get the students to read the t
8、ext quickly and answer some easy questions. Its a way to train them the ability of scanning.T: Now lets read the text quickly ,after finishing reading ,try to answer the following questions ? 1).Where is Zhalong nature reserve ? 2)What can the birds easily catch for food? 3.Do many people know the i
9、mportance of the wetlands ?設計說明本環(huán)節(jié)是初步了解課文。學生們看Zhalong nature reserve 的圖片及圖片上的情景,同時教師用英語進行介紹,使學生視覺與聽覺并用,讓學生回答問題,他們可以輕松容易地獲取語言信息,訓練學生快速閱讀抓重點信息的能力。Step 3、 listening Play the tape for the students and ask students to listen to the tape write T or F in the blanks1.Zhalong is a nature reserve in China. _2
10、.Birds can find food easily in Zhalong. _3.Some birds go to Zhalong for a short stay. _4.The birds in Zhalong live in large cages. _5.There are a lot of red-crowned cranes in otherparts world. _6.Many endangered birds live in Zhalong now. _設計說明在聽的同時,完成判斷對錯題,他們對此類型的題很熟悉,難度也不大,課文較長可分段進行,降低難度,學困生能作出正確的
11、判斷,增強了他們的信心,激發(fā)學生投入課堂學習的興趣。Step 4 Further- reading for the details .Ask students to read the text carefully and answer the following questions 1.Do many birds live comfortably in Zhalong?2.Why is there less and less space for wildlife?3.How are more and more birds ?4.What does the Chinese government

15、 front of the class.They can do it easily.)設計說明通過多種不同的練習方式,讓學生理解課文,掌握所學的語言信息,使學生在課堂上有新鮮感,不會覺得英語課枯燥、無味。此環(huán)節(jié)是讓學生進一步進行練習,有助于鞏固學生記憶,有利于學生回憶課文信息,有利于調動學生發(fā)言的積極性。Step7 DiscussionT: You did very well just now.I will give you an award . . lets watch a flash . After class please write a short passage according to your discussion .學習效果評價設計從教學目標的達成度來評價學生學習效果:絕大部分學生能掌握所學詞匯并能很好的理解課文。從情感、策略發(fā)展狀態(tài)來評價學生學習效果:學生積極參與課堂活動,課堂氣氛輕松和諧
18、;學習興趣濃厚,有主動的學習態(tài)度,并能根據不同的學習任務調整學習策略。教學反思本節(jié)課最大的特點是將詞匯、閱讀和聽力教學融于一體,且環(huán)節(jié)緊湊。本節(jié)課詞匯復現(xiàn)率高,巧妙地貫穿于整個閱讀教學中,先是在介紹文章背景時,利用圖片自然地學習詞匯;其次,在做理解故事情節(jié)的練習時,復現(xiàn)詞匯,加深印象;最后通過討論鞏固課文,達成情感目標。 結尾利用我是一只小小鳥這首歌讓學生討論如何保護鳥類關愛自然,這一話題,抓住口語與寫作練習有效的結合,為學生提供更開闊的拓展空間。牛津英語8A Unit5 Birdwatchers ( period 1)教學設計一 設計思路:1.教學內容本課時是牛津英語8A的第五單元第一課時C

20、,培養(yǎng)關愛自然保護動物的意識,激發(fā)學生學生學習英語興趣,培養(yǎng)小組合作精神。三、教學重點: 使學生了解鳥類名稱,識別并掌握所學詞匯。四、教學難點: 學會用所學詞匯和句型談論鳥類的特征,表達對不同鳥類的喜好。五、教學背景:本教學設計面對的是初中八年級的學生 ,課時一課時。 教師準備:不同鳥類圖片,網絡資源,錄音材料和多媒體教學設備。 學生準備:收集相關鳥類知識,了解鳥類特征,預習所學課文。六、教學過程: Teaching Procedures STEP 1Playing a piece of musicPlaying a piece of music called “the seaside voi

Get the students to read the words well .STEP 3 Talking about birds As it is illustrated in the following pictures ,show the pictures of different kinds of birds .And then talk about them focusing on whats special about the birds .STEP 4 Giving namesShow the pictures together and then
