1、Unit4 ReadingA Night the Earth Didn't Sleep教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)一、 整體設(shè)計(jì)思路,指導(dǎo)依據(jù)說明高中英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的課程目標(biāo)就是要改變英語課程過分注重智育和傳承知識(shí)的傾向,改變英語教學(xué)過程過分注重學(xué)習(xí)、機(jī)械記憶、被動(dòng)模仿的傾向,倡導(dǎo)學(xué)生主動(dòng)參與、交流合作、探究發(fā)現(xiàn)等多種學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng),改進(jìn)學(xué)習(xí)方式,優(yōu)化學(xué)習(xí)策略。在進(jìn)一步發(fā)展綜合語言運(yùn)用能力的基礎(chǔ)上,著手提高學(xué)生用英語獲取信息、處理信息、分析問題和解決問題的能力。本課教學(xué)過程主要采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)法,學(xué)生在明確任務(wù)的驅(qū)動(dòng)下,以競(jìng)爭(zhēng)與合作的方式主動(dòng)完成任務(wù),以聽,說,讀,寫為載體,遵循“教為主導(dǎo),學(xué)生為主體,練為主線,生
2、活為目標(biāo)”的教學(xué)思想,在教學(xué)活動(dòng)中創(chuàng)造機(jī)會(huì)讓學(xué)生自主探究,自主學(xué)習(xí),敢于實(shí)踐,從而充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生在生活中學(xué)習(xí)英語的積極性,并且注重學(xué)生的情感教育。二、教學(xué)背景分析 1、Analysis of teaching material (教材分析) (1)The topic: Unit 4 A Night the Earth Didn't Sleep, New Senior English For China, Students Book 1 (2 )The content of the teaching Warming-up, pre-reading and reading . (3) The
3、 content of the text The passage is about earthquakes. By studying of this unit, well enable students to know damages earthquakes bring about and the ways to reduce losses from earthquakes, and develop their interest in nature. At the same time, let the students learn how to face the terrible disast
4、ers . Therefore, this lesson is the important position of this unit. If the students can master it well, it will be helpful for them to learn the rest of this unit. 2、Analysis of the students(學(xué)情分析) The students are in grade 1 of senior high school, they have mastered a certain number of vocabularies
5、 , and have grasped some simple reading skills , however ,the differences in students personality is very large , so its important to attract their interest and draw their attention to the topic of this text, and necessary to improve their reading skills.三、Analysis of the teaching aims教學(xué)目標(biāo)分析 1.Teach
6、ing aims (教學(xué)目標(biāo)) 1)Knowledge aims: a) Key words and expressions: earthquake, as if, at the end, lie in ruins, destroy, destroy,right away, well, burst, dig out . b) The attributive clause: It was felt in Beijing , which is more than two hundred kilometers away. The number of people who were killed or
7、 injured reached more than 400,000. . 2) Ability aims: To develop students reading skills, such as skimming, scanning, guessing and concluding; Guide them to use these reading skills to collect and deal with information. Meanwhile, encourage them to express their own opinions using the language they
8、 have learned in class and cultivate their ability to cooperate with others.3) Emotion aims: Let the students to learn how to face the terrible disasters , treat them in proper ways, and never get discouraged.四、 Teaching important points and difficult points Teaching important points(教學(xué)重點(diǎn))The import
