1、M2 Unit3 The curse of the mummy(reading)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)孫蓮一、教材分析牛津高中英語(yǔ)模塊二包括三個(gè)單元,第三單元主要涉及神秘的古代文明。古代文明充滿(mǎn)許多未知的因素,是古代人類(lèi)集體智慧的結(jié)晶。不僅是學(xué)生需要了解的歷史,也是許多考古學(xué)家在不斷研究的領(lǐng)域。對(duì)于此方面,學(xué)生也充滿(mǎn)了好奇。本課文是關(guān)于我們既熟知又陌生的埃及金字塔以及有關(guān)木乃伊的詛咒。學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)本課文能對(duì)此話(huà)題有個(gè)科學(xué)的了解。 本設(shè)計(jì)以閱讀文章為信息載體,通過(guò)輸入、輸出手段,使得學(xué)生感知教學(xué)內(nèi)容,理解教學(xué)內(nèi)容,并以教學(xué)內(nèi)容展開(kāi)聽(tīng)和說(shuō)的訓(xùn)練,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合語(yǔ)言能力。本設(shè)計(jì)將教材提供的各種活動(dòng)并補(bǔ)充活動(dòng),以便更好

2、地達(dá)成本節(jié)課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)1. 知識(shí)和能力目標(biāo)了解一些有用的關(guān)于金字塔,埃及,探險(xiǎn)的單詞,詞組表達(dá):curse, explorer, adventurous, curious, preserve, secretary, coincidence.訓(xùn)練學(xué)生預(yù)測(cè)課文信息的能力,看到課文標(biāo)題,the curse of mummy,猜測(cè)文章想要表達(dá)的內(nèi)容,根據(jù)猜測(cè)內(nèi)容帶著問(wèn)題閱讀文章。2. 情感和價(jià)值觀(guān)使學(xué)生了解神秘的世界,激發(fā)他們對(duì)未知世界的好奇之心,以及學(xué)會(huì)用科學(xué)的方法來(lái)解釋現(xiàn)象。設(shè)計(jì)思想:即使在現(xiàn)在的先進(jìn)的科技下,還是存在許多用科學(xué)無(wú)法解釋的現(xiàn)象,而這些現(xiàn)象不僅為科學(xué)家感興趣,就算學(xué)生也

3、同樣充滿(mǎn)好奇心。本節(jié)課通過(guò)一些有關(guān)金字塔的圖片,陵墓里珍貴的寶物來(lái)激發(fā)學(xué)生想要探險(xiǎn)的興趣。帶著學(xué)生走入幾千年前傳說(shuō)受著詛咒的法老陵墓,感受其神秘,危險(xiǎn)之感。本篇文章其實(shí)是以探險(xiǎn)家霍華德 卡特為主線(xiàn)講述了他探險(xiǎn)最大的最有名的法老陵墓(圖坦卡門(mén))整節(jié)課就是讓學(xué)生根據(jù)閱讀策略反復(fù)地閱讀,跳讀,細(xì)讀。從整體到部分,不時(shí)穿插聽(tīng)的練習(xí),口頭表達(dá)的練習(xí),然后鞏固課文內(nèi)容,結(jié)構(gòu)回顧。最后讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行一個(gè)訪(fǎng)問(wèn),采訪(fǎng)對(duì)有關(guān)木乃伊和卡特的事。三 教學(xué)的重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)教學(xué)重點(diǎn)Improve students ability of getting the information in the text.Learn the w
