3、svalidforaperiodof25monthsandcouldexpirebeforetheplaniscompletedifthereisadelayinobtainingapproval.thecreditstakenmustrelatedirectlytothecandidateslegitimateeducationalobjectivesfortheplan.iftheprogram(s)usedprovidesconcretesupporttotheplan,thereshouldbelittleriskofcreditsnotbeingaccepted.whatmightc

4、auseaplantobedisapproved?therearevariousreasons-alackofintegrationorcohesionamongtheplanelements(e.g.coveringmultiplepracticeareas),asuperficialapproachtoextendingthecandidatesexpertise,orlackofrelevaneeoftheprogramscitedtotheobjectivesfortheplan.ingeneral,thereshouldbelittleriskifthecandidateandadv

5、isorapproachtheprocessbyfirstestablishingeducationalobjectivesandthendeterminingappropriateprogramstosupportthoseobjectives.arethereformstosubmitwithmyinitialplanand/orexecutedplanreport?initially,theletterofcommitmentandthepdplan,bothsignedbytheadvisorandthecandidate,mustbesubmittedalongwiththepdfi

6、lingfeeandpaymentform.theletterofcommitmentandpaymentformmaybeobtainedfromthesoawebsiteorthesoasbasiceducationcatalog.modelplanshavebeendevelopedandareavailableonthewebsite.candidatesfilingmodelplanswillstillberequiredtofileacopyofthesignedmodelplanandletterofcommitment;andwillalsoneedtosubmitthefil

7、ingfeeandpaymentform.candidatesmayusethemodelplansexactlyaswrittenorasaframeworkfortheirplans,andadapttheplanstomeettheirindividualpdneeds.uponcompletionofapdplan,thecandidateandadvisorwillsubmittothesoaafinalexecutedplan,afinalreportattestingtothesuccessfulcompletionoftheplanandfulfillmentoftheeduc
