1、Module 11 Population 教案Content:Module 11 population 一、題材內(nèi)容本模塊以人口為話題,重點探討城市化進(jìn)程當(dāng)中人口聚集帶來的問題,并對城市生活和鄉(xiāng)村生活各自利弊進(jìn)行了簡要對比。對于中國這樣一個人口基數(shù)大,增長速度快的人口大國,在發(fā)展經(jīng)濟(jì)的過程中不能不關(guān)注人口問題造成的影響。因此,在中學(xué)英語教學(xué)中提出關(guān)注人口,關(guān)注城市化進(jìn)程所面臨的問題的思路對青少年的成長是具有現(xiàn)實意義的。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)1)語言知識:詞匯crowd, increase, traffic, increasing, percent, appointment, block, crime,
2、flat, law, rubbish, suburb, tax, add, fault, police, responsible, solve, result, firstly, secondly, sure, otherwise, label.詞組come up, along with, thanks to, in the distance, close down, add to, birth rate,語法 冠詞a, an, the 的使用。功能 根據(jù)相關(guān)人口信息制作圖表。話題 能夠就城市人口增長過快引發(fā)的問題簡單地展開討論;簡要地比較城市生活的鄉(xiāng)村生活的利弊。2)語言技能:聽能夠聽懂城市
3、發(fā)展過程中面臨問題的簡單對話,提高學(xué)生的實際應(yīng)用能力。說流利的說出含有本模塊生詞、短語;熟練掌握數(shù)字的發(fā)音規(guī)則;能夠就城市進(jìn)程中面臨的人口,資源的問題展開簡單對話。讀能讀懂人口急速增長給城市,環(huán)境帶來的問題的相關(guān)文章。寫1.能夠運用本模塊的生詞和短語寫出有關(guān)環(huán)境問題方面的句子。2.能夠區(qū)分冠詞a, an, the的用法,并在書寫句子的時候靈活使用。3.比較熟練地根據(jù)人口信息制作相關(guān)圖表。演示與表達(dá)面向全班同學(xué)做有關(guān)人口增長過快帶來的環(huán)境問題的介紹;比較城市生活和鄉(xiāng)村生活。3)學(xué)習(xí)策略學(xué)習(xí)一定程度形成自主學(xué)習(xí),有效交際、信息處理、英語思維能力。認(rèn)知 聯(lián)系,歸納,推測等技能。調(diào)控 從同伴處得到反饋
4、,對自己在敘述及作文中的錯誤進(jìn)行修改。交際 學(xué)習(xí)運用恰當(dāng)詞語展開城市人口問題的討論資源 通過其他資源獲取更多介紹城市人口信息。自學(xué)策略培養(yǎng)話題和詞匯的語言域意識,形成話題聯(lián)想的習(xí)慣。合作學(xué)習(xí)策略掌握詢問和澄清策略。掌握搭配策略。4)文化意識:中外對比 城市化進(jìn)程中東西方人們不同的關(guān)注點和態(tài)度。5)情感態(tài)度:目標(biāo) 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生關(guān)注城市人口聚集引發(fā)的問題意識;倡導(dǎo)環(huán)保的生活理念;樹立準(zhǔn)確的語言學(xué)習(xí)觀6)任務(wù): 能夠運用收集的人口信息制作圖表。三、教學(xué)重點和難點重點:1. 如何使用地道的英語進(jìn)行城市進(jìn)程中面臨問題的討論;2正確區(qū)分a, an, the的用法;3. 運用人口信息進(jìn)行圖表制作。 難點:圖表制
5、作。四、教學(xué)方法基于課程改革的理念及"第二語言習(xí)得論",培養(yǎng)實現(xiàn)人的可持續(xù)發(fā)展和人的主體精神的自我完善和發(fā)展所必需的能力和素質(zhì),運用任務(wù)型教學(xué)途徑,圍繞核心任務(wù),設(shè)定小任務(wù),開展和諧愉悅的課堂活動,強調(diào)興趣第一的原則,初步設(shè)計"P-T-P"自主學(xué)習(xí)立體模式:pre-tasktask-cyclepost-task。五、教材處理核心任務(wù):能夠運用所學(xué)句型結(jié)構(gòu)向不同的朋友介紹城市進(jìn)程面臨的問題。三個環(huán)節(jié)如下:pre-task:學(xué)生聯(lián)系生活實際,激活背景知識,。task -cycle:通過整個模塊的聽說讀寫的訓(xùn)練,強化"問題意識。"的表達(dá)能力
6、,為完成任務(wù)做好鋪墊post-task):達(dá)成任務(wù),展示成果,反饋學(xué)習(xí)情況六、教材安排根據(jù)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的特點和規(guī)律,我們把本模塊劃分為5課時:Unit 1: Listening and Vocabulary ;pronunciation and SpeakingUnit 2 Reading and Vocabulary;WritingUnit.3: Language in use;Around the world &Module Task 注:教學(xué)時應(yīng)根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)水平、接受程度及課堂出現(xiàn)的臨時狀況進(jìn)行運用、調(diào)整及篩選。教學(xué)設(shè)計Title: Module 11 populationUn

Then ask the Ss. to compare which city is bigger?Learn new words and phrases in this Module.Do some choral and individual repetition of the new words; correct possible errors in pronunciation.Listen and do revision.Look at the map and do comparision.Read after teacher to learn ne
11、w vocabularies.Find possible errors in other students' pronunciation.Step twoShow photos and raise the topic of the problems in the process of modernization. Then ask different student to describe the photos with the words given in the box. Correct possible mistakes in their sentences.Look at th
