Complicated structure of gerund 形容詞性物主代詞或名詞所有格加動(dòng)名詞構(gòu)成動(dòng)名詞復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu) 形容詞性物主代詞或名詞所有格是動(dòng)名詞的邏輯主語,在句中可作主語、賓語和表語 1. Marys coming late made her teacher quite angry. 2. Do you mind my smoking? 3. We are looking

30、 forward to the professors coming to speak to us. 注:在口語中,如果這種結(jié)構(gòu)的名詞作賓語,往往不用所有格,而用普通格,代詞用賓格不用物主代詞。 在英語中,有一些詞既可以用動(dòng)名詞也可以用不定式做賓語,意義差別不大。它們有:like, love, begin, start, continue, propose等。 (1).
