2、arts In this unit, Ss learn to express preferences with the attributive clause. It is a little difficult for students to learn this point and it is also important for their following further study, which shows the importance of this lesson. Part 1 :The analysis of the teaching material(教材分析)( The St
3、atus and Function(教材的地位與功能) )Part 3: Teaching methods (教法) In this lesson, Ill mainly use the following teaching methods: 1. Task-based teaching method (任務(wù)型教學(xué)方法) 2. Communicative teaching method (交互式教學(xué)方法)Part 4:Studying ways (學(xué)法) Observation-imitation-practice-production(觀察-模仿-練習(xí)-產(chǎn)出) In order to gui
4、de the Ss better and better develop the Ss abilities, the Ss will learn how to be a good language learner through the four steps above and how to communicate with others in this lesson as good studying ways are helpful for their lifelong study. Part 5: Teaching Objectives (教學(xué)目標(biāo))1.Knowledge and Skill
5、: To master the new words and the target language as follows, I like music that I can sing along with I prefer music that has great lyrics To develop students listening and speaking skills.2.Process and Method: To train the Ss to express their preferences through the steps of “observation-imitation-
6、practice-production”.3.Emotional Attitude and Value To relax and fall in love with English through music.Part 6:Teaching Key & Difficult Points (教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn))Key points(重點(diǎn)) Learn and master the new words, target language and simple attibutive clauses with that.Difficult points(難點(diǎn)) The usage of attributive

Revision1.Invite different pairs of students to act out the conversations learned in the last lesson.2.Check the answers to the exercises of the preview section.3.Dictate some of the key words and phrases presented in the last lesson.(白板幕布或展臺(tái))Purpose of my design(設(shè)計(jì)意圖)To review the o
8、ld knowledge can make it easier for students to learn new knowledge.Step2. Lead-in 2.Write“that are red ”on the blackboard Point to it and say a sentence with it, I like flowers that are red. Ask students to make another sentence with it They may say, I like gloves that are red. I like shoes that ar
9、e red Write another phrase on the blackboard, that is big Help the students to make sentences with itStep2. Lead-in 4.Write these four groups of words on the blackboard, that has great lyrics, that I can sing along with, that isnt too loud, that I can dance to Ask the students to What kind of music

Say, You can answer with I like music, I love music, I prefer music Get one of the children to answer the question, then let this child ask the one next to him/her the same question to set off a chain drill Purpose of my design: This part can both lead in the topic of this lesson and tr
11、ain the students to express preferences with the attributive clause and give students a chance to practice the speaking skills. Step3. Presentation Firstly,let them look at the pictures and circle the sentences they agree with.Read each sentence to the class and ask the students to raise their hands
12、 to see if they agree.Make a survey to find out how the class feels about each item.Discuss the result of the survey with the class Get the students to complete the sentence to tell what kind of music they enjoy.Ask some of the students to share their sentencesWrite any new words or phrases on the b
13、oard to help them if necessary Help them make their own sentences like this: I like music that Purpose of my design: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of the target language. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practice their listening and spoken ability. Step 4 List
14、ening practice Read the instructions to the students。Tell them to tick () the right statements while they are listeningRead the three headings before playing the tape(展示書(shū)) Play the tape for the first time and the students only listen. Then play it for a second time.The students tick in the right ans

17、ations before the classPurpose of my design: Task-based teaching method is used here to develop Ss ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.Step6. Summary In this class, weve learned two new key words, prefer and lyrics. And weve learned how to express pre
18、ferences by talking about music, using attributive clauses with that Purpose of my designing: At the end of the class, we should help the Ss to summarize what we have learned in this lesson.Prediction(效果預(yù)測(cè)) After the pattern drill and all kinds of activities used in this class, almost all the students can
