2、分詞用作定語,如果是單個詞語,常置于其所修飾的名詞之前。 The injured workers are now being taken care of in the hospital.2.過去分詞用作定語,如果是短語,一般置于其所修飾的名詞之后,其意 義相當于一個定語從句。 The concert given by their friends was a success. =The concert (which was) given by their friends was a success.過去分詞所修飾的名詞concert與非謂語動詞give為被動關(guān)系,表示動作已經(jīng)完成。不及物動詞的分
3、詞形式要做前置定語。boiling/boiled water; falling/fallen leaves;developing/developed countries過去分詞作定語 過去分詞所修飾的名詞concert與非謂語動3.一般來說,分詞做定語時,過去分詞修飾人, 現(xiàn)在分詞修飾物。 an interested man; an interesting book The boy looked at me with a pleased expression. 有時,用來修飾人的過去分詞可以修飾非人的事物,這種過去分詞在形式上雖不直接修飾人,但它所修飾的事物仍與人直接有關(guān)。過去分詞作表語時,表
4、心理狀態(tài),意為“人感到的”如:He was excited at the news.注意一下詞組的區(qū)別:an exciting voice/ an excited voice;a puzzling expression/ a puzzled expression3.一般來說,分詞做定語時,過去分詞修飾人, 現(xiàn)在分詞修飾物過去分詞作狀語 1. 過去分詞作狀語表示被動的和完成的動作。 Written in a hurry, this article was not so good! 但是,有些過去分詞作狀語時不表被動而表主動。常見的有: She is seated there. He is los

Absorbed in deep thought, he didnt hear the sound. lost (迷路); seated (坐); hidden(躲); stationed(駐扎); dressed in(穿著);lost / absorbed in(沉溺于); born(出身于); tired of (厭煩) 主語this article和非謂語動詞write為被動關(guān)系,表示完成。過去分詞作狀語但是,有些過去分詞作狀語時不表被動而表主動。常2. 過去分詞作狀語時分句主語必須與主句主語保持一致。Given another hour, I can

7、row fast. = ( If these seeds are) grown in rich soil , 狀語從句改成過去分詞作狀語時有時還可保留連詞,構(gòu)成“連詞過去分詞”結(jié)構(gòu)作狀語。Because caught in a heavy rain, he was all wet.If grown in rich soil, these seeds can grow fast.Given another hour, this problem can be worked out. 2. 過去分詞作狀語時分句主語必須與主句主語保持一致。狀語從 過去分詞作補語(一)能夠接過去分詞作賓補的動詞有以下兩
8、類: 1. 表示感覺或心理狀態(tài)的動詞。如:see, watch, observe, look at, hear, listen to, feel, notice, think等。 (1) I heard the song sung in English. (2)Id like to see the plan carried out. 2. 表示“使;讓”意義的動詞。如:have, make, get, let, keep, leave等。 (1) Ill have my hair cut tomorrow. (2) He got his tooth pulled out yesterday.
