5、gricultural and Forestry. Agricultural Economics aims to build a sound theoretical basis for undergraduate students of the major of Economic and Management of Agricultural and Forestry and make them master the basic concept and theory, recognize the basic issues of agricultural economy and learn the
6、 basic knowledge of how to deal with all the issues.The research of Agricultural Economics mainly uses the basic principles of economics to learn how the supply and demand of agricultural products, spot market and futures market, and international trade work; how to effectively allocate the resource
7、 with the limitation of farmland, water resource, fund, technology and information, also how to improve the usage of farm labor, accelerate the transfer of surplus rural labor and promote technological progress and intensification ; to research how to set up a micro economic organization in rural Ch
8、ina with the goal of developing rural cooperative economics and agricultural industrialization under the condition of clearly established ownership; to research how to implement agricultural protection policy, how to manage food quality safety, adjust the agricultural structure and reform the tradit
