高中英語(yǔ)詞匯教學(xué)調(diào)查現(xiàn)狀及對(duì)策ByLuJinruiSupervisor:Prof.SunHaiyanFacultyofInternationalStudiesHenanNormalUniversity14thJune,2014AnOutlineofthePresentationResearchMotivationSignificanceandPurposesResearchLiteratureReviewResearchQuestionsResearchSubjectsResearchMethodologyFrameworkCompanyLogoFirstly,vocabularyisthebasicunitoflanguage.JustasWilkins(1976:86)holds,“Withoutgrammar,verylittlecouldbeconveyed,whilewithoutvocabulary,nothingcouldbeconveyed.”Sovocabularyisworthpayingattentiontoinlanguageteachingandlearning.Secondly,theamountsofvocabularydirectlyhaveagreateffectonthestudents’skillsoflistening,speaking,readingandwriting,etc.Therefore,vocabularyteachingisanimportantpartinEnglishteachinginseniorhighschool.ResearchMotivationResearchMotivation

Thirdly,grammarteachinghasbeenfocusingoninourtraditionalEnglishteachingwhilevocabularyteachingisignored.However,inthenationalcollegeentranceexamination,vocabularyispaidmoreandmoreattentionto.What’smore,accordingtoSeniorMiddleSchoolEnglishCurriculumStandard(2003),thenumberofvocabularyforseniorhighschoolstudentshasincreasedfrom2000to3000.SohowtoimproveEnglishvocabularyteachingbecomesanurgentproblem.CompanyLogoSignificance

ThestudywillbeofgreatusetothestudentsinlearningEnglish.Besides,itwillhelp

theteachersteachthestudentsbetter.Atthesame

time,thestudyonthevocabularyteaching
