Whyexactlyisyourteacherboring?Whatdoeshe/shedointheclassroomthatyoufindboring?Areyoulearning?Itcouldbethatthisteacherhasadifferentstylefromapreviousteacherandyouarenotyetusedtoit.Ifitisaproblemthenitisuptoyoutohelptheteachertochangebygivingspecificreasonsandexamplesofwhatyoufindboring.Theteachercanthenworkonmakingitmoreinterestingandexcitingforyouandyourclassmates.

AtEnglishFirst,weteachcommunicatively.Thismeansthatyouwillpracticewhatyouarelearningintheclassroomthroughspeaking.So,youwillimproveyourspokenabilitiesalongwithyourknowledgeofgr r,listeningskills,readingandwriting.
Youwillbe ngalotofspeakingintheclassroomandyourteacherwillbe ngverylittle.You’llpracticemuchofthetimewithyourclassmates,alwayswiththeguidanceandsupervisionofyourteacher.
Whileallofourteachersusethistypeofteaching,differentpeoplehavedifferentstyles.Anewteacher’sstylemightseemstrangeorunlikableatfirst,butyoushouldgiveittimetogetusedtoit.
Shouldmentionthoughthatthecomintsprocedureshouldbeimplementedifthislookslikeamoreseriousproblem.Iwouldn’tencourageaCCtofobsomeoneoffwhowasn’thappy.Itcouldwellbethattheteachingreallyiscrap.

Allofourteachershavetaughtbefore,somemorethanothers.EachteacherparticipatesininitialandongoingteachertrainingandregularobservationswhileatEF.YoumayhaveseenourDoSinoneoftheclassesalready.WealsohaveaCourseManagementProcedure(showcoursemap)thatmakessurethatourcoursesareruntoaqualitystandard.

Thisdependsontheindividualteacherbeingaskedabout.Mostofourteachersarefulltime.Parttimeteachersarechosencarefullyandtheyfollowthesameteachingphilosophyandrulesasthefulltimeteachers.
