1.平行構(gòu)造的運(yùn)用平行構(gòu)造作為一種使句子變得緊湊而錯(cuò)落有致的寫作方式,有以下成效:句式優(yōu)美、表達(dá)清晰、重點(diǎn)突出,使用盡可能少的詞傳達(dá)了盡可能多的信息.例如:主題句為Videogamesareakindofentertainment.利用平行構(gòu)造拓展為:Theybringpleasurestoyoungsters,trainthemtorespondquickly,stimulatetheirimaginationinelectronics.不難看出,此處容豐富具體、行文流暢,有極強(qiáng)的說服力.

2.句式靈活多變假設(shè)文中的簡單句出現(xiàn)得太多,就會(huì)顯得單調(diào)、含混、不生動(dòng).要寫出生動(dòng)而鮮明的句子,可通過喬姆斯基的轉(zhuǎn)化生成語法中的嵌入方式來實(shí)現(xiàn).一個(gè)簡單句,嵌入定語、狀語、補(bǔ)語后,變得生動(dòng)有趣.如:Bookstellingpeoplehowtoadaptthemselvestothesocietyareworthreading.讀起來比Booksareworthreading.更耐人尋味,是由于前一個(gè)句子中的主語前加了一個(gè)復(fù)雜的定語.再如:Harrystoodattheedgeofthepath,watchingthecarsrunning.這是一個(gè)簡單句后附上了伴隨狀語,使句子更加生動(dòng).在拓展主題句時(shí),注意適時(shí)地變換句式,是一種有效的寫作策略,同時(shí)能使文章產(chǎn)生意想不到的文學(xué)效果.

2.從不同角度選材選材時(shí)應(yīng)考慮到段落的單一性和完整性,單一性即一個(gè)中心思想,完整性就是要防止支離破碎或容僅局限在*一狹窄的圍.材料要做到涵蓋面廣,而且愈典型愈好,但也不能憑空編造,應(yīng)以事實(shí)為根底,這樣一來,就防止了片面性或謬誤.例如:主題句為Scienceandtechnologybenefitshumanbeingmuch.(科學(xué)技術(shù)給人類帶來益處),在展開此主題句的過程中,可從農(nóng)業(yè)、醫(yī)學(xué)、電訊業(yè)等不同角度來補(bǔ)充材料,行文如下:Sciencemakesitpossibleforanationtoensurefoodandclothing(農(nóng)業(yè)方面),sciencecanmakepeoplelivelonger(醫(yī)學(xué)方面),andit'ssciencethatmakesitasmallworld(通訊方面).當(dāng)然,提高寫作水平非一日之功,要注意平時(shí)不斷地積累,盡可能增加語言的輸入量,才能厚積薄發(fā),寫作時(shí)才能得心應(yīng)手;這樣,假以時(shí)日,自然而然就提高了用英語流暢地表達(dá)思想的能力.
