In1996,IparticipatedinresearchonMias-2000SeriesPCBasedImageryAnalysisSystem,duringwhichtimeIdevelopedthemulti-dimensionalslidewindowmethod,whileconcurrentlydevelopingsoftwareonimagerestoration.Asaresultofthisresearch,theDeanoftheDepartmentinvitedmetoassistinprogramminganotherdepartmentalproject,aprivilegehebestowedonfewpeople.
