辨別that引導(dǎo)的從句類型怎樣區(qū)分that引導(dǎo)的定語從句、同位語從句、主語從句和強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu)呢?可采用“成分法”“試加法”“試減法”“還原法”?,F(xiàn)分述如下:(1)定語從句可用“成分法”即分析that引導(dǎo)的從句的句子成分,如果 that在從句中充當(dāng)主語或賓語,則此從句為定語從句。Thematterthatyouwerearguingaboutlastnighthasbeensettled.你們昨天晚上討論的那個(gè)問題已經(jīng)解決了。Aplaneisamachinethatcanfly.飛機(jī)就是可以飛的機(jī)器。(2)同位語從句可用“試加法”,即在名詞和從句之間加系動(dòng)詞 be,使該名詞和從句構(gòu)成一個(gè)新的句子。如果句子通順、合乎邏輯,那么從句就是同位語從句。Weheardthenewsthatourteamhadwon.我們聽說了我們隊(duì)取勝的消息。Thefactthathehadnotsaidanythingsurprisedeverybody.他什么也沒有說,這使每個(gè)人都吃了一驚。根據(jù)“試加法”,句③可改寫為:Thenewswasthatourteamhadwon.句④可改寫為:Thefactwasthathehadnotsaidanything.改寫后的句子③、④通順,合乎邏輯,故 that引導(dǎo)的從句為同位語從句。(3)用it作形式主語的主語從句可用“ 還原法”,即把that引導(dǎo)的從句調(diào)到句首,去掉句首的it,再加句子剩余部分。如新句子意思不變,合乎邏輯,則該從句為主語從句,否則為其它從句。It'arulethathegetsupatsixo'clockeverymorning.他每天早上六點(diǎn)起床,這是一個(gè)規(guī)律。It'clearthathehasfinishedhishomework. 很明顯,他已經(jīng)完成了作業(yè)。按“還原法”,句⑤可構(gòu)成新的句子: Thathegetsupatsixo'lockeverymorningisarule.句⑥可構(gòu)成新的句子: Thathehasfinishedhishomeworkisclear.句子⑤、⑥改寫后意思通順、合乎邏輯,故that從句為主語從句。(4) 強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu)采用“試減法”,即把句子中的“Itbe…that…”這一框架去掉,如果句子剩余部分(可以做位置上的調(diào)整)意思通順,合乎邏輯,則 that是強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu)的標(biāo)志。Itwasfiveyearsagothathejoinedtheparty. 他就是五年前參軍的。Itisyouthatarewrong. 錯(cuò)的就是你。根據(jù)“試減法”句⑦可改成新句子: Hejoinedthepartyfiveyearsago.句⑧改為:Youarewrong改寫后的句子通順,合乎邏輯,故句⑦、⑧為強(qiáng)調(diào)句型。Exercises:Thenews toShanghaidelightedallofthem.A.theywouldgo B.whichtheywouldgoC.thattheywouldgo D.wouldgoIhavereadallthebooks yougaveme.A.one B.that C.what D.it isafactthatEnglishisbeingacceptedasaninternationallanguage.A.There B.This C.That D.ItWasitduringtheSecondWorldWar hedied?A.That B.whileC.inwhich D.whenIsitpossible hemisunderstood Isaid?
