FromMay2023toJune2023,atotalof413stakeholdersoftheWBGinC.A.R.wereinvitedtoprovide
theiropinionsabouttheWBG’sworkinthecountrybyparticipatinginaCountryOpinionSurvey(COS).AlistofpotentialparticipantswascompiledbytheWBGcountryteam.Participantsweredrawnfromthe
OfficeofthePresident,PrimeMinister,Minister,OfficeofaParliamentarian(NationalAssembly,Legislativebody),GovernmentInstitutions,LocalGovernments,Bilateral/MultilateralAgencies,PrivateSector,Civil
Society,Academia,andtheMedia.
Ofthesestakeholders,258participatedinthesurvey(62%responserate).Respondentsreceivedthequestionnairesviacourierandreturnedthemaccordinglyortheycompletedthequestionnairesonline.
Theresultsofthisyear’ssurveywerecomparedtotheFY20COSSurveywitharesponserateof64%(N=257).
ComparingresponsesacrossCountrySurveysreflectschangesinattitudesovertime,butalsochangesinrespondentsamples,changesinmethodology,andchangestothesurveyinstrumentitself.Toreducetheinfluenceofthelatterfactor,onlythosequestionswithsimilarresponsescales/optionswereanalyzed.
