thefirst.Ipromised,andheleftmehisguitar.Butafterhedied,Icouldn,tbeartoplayit.He,dspent
somuchtimewithhisarmsaroundthatinstrument,anditseemedanextensionofhisownbody.
Holdingitgavemygriefanunbearabletangibility(可觸知).Sofor13yearsitsatmostlyuntouched,
comingoutonlywhenmysonEllisbeggedtoseeit.Hewascarefulwithhisgrandfather's
instrumentinawaythatmademewanttopassitdowntohim-boththeguitarandthemusic.
Problemwas,Icouldn,treallyplayanymore.
Now,Antoniaissittingwithmeinherlivingroom,teachingmepatiently.Ihavebeenherefor
