1.虛擬語氣在if條件句中的應用

1）三種形式

條件從句中的動詞結(jié)果主句中的動詞示例

與現(xiàn)在的事實相反動詞的過去式

be動詞——律用werewould/could/might/should+動詞原形IfIhadtime,Iwouldattendyour

party.

與過去的事實相反hack過去分詞would/could/might/should+have+過去分詞Youdidn't

letmedrive.Ifwehaddriveninturn,youwouldn'thavegotsotired.

與將來的事實相反should+動詞原形

wereto+動詞原形would/could/might/should+動同原形Ifitweretosnow/shouldsnow

tomorrow,weshouldtakephotos.

2）虛擬條件句中有were,had,should時，可把if省略，而把were,had,should放在主語前,

用到裝結(jié)構(gòu)，這種結(jié)構(gòu)主要用于書面語中.如：

Wereitnecessary,Imightresign.

Hadyouinformedmeearlier,Iwouldnothavesignedthecontract.

ShouldIhavetime,Iwouldcallonher

Shoulditraintomorrow,wewouldhavetoputoffthevisittotheSummerPalace

3）錯綜時間條件句

在這種條件句中，虛擬條件主句和從句的動作發(fā)生的時間不一致，因此，主句和從句的謂語動

詞要根據(jù)各自所指的不同時間選擇適當?shù)膭釉~形式，如：

IfIwereyou,Iwouldnothavemissedthefilmlastnight.(現(xiàn)在■一過去)

Iftheyhadstartedintheearlymorning,theywouldarriveinhalfanhour(過去——將來)

Ifyouhadaskedhimwhenyousawhimlasttime,youwouldknowwhattodonow.(過去

—現(xiàn)在)

4)含蓄條件句

有些句子中，沒有任何表示虛擬語氣的詞，短語或從句，但仍要用虛擬語氣.這時，要么是省略

了表示虛擬語氣的部分，要么隱含在上下文之中.如：

Iwoulddoanythingforher(ifIcould)

Wewouldhavemadealotofmoney(butwegaveuphalfway)

Withoutelectricitylifewouldbequitedifferenttoday.(Iftherewerenoelectricity)

5)用介詞代替條件狀語從句，常見的介詞有with,without,butfor如：

Whatwouldyoudowithamilliondollars(ifyouhadamilliondollars?)

Wewouldnothavefinishedthewordontimewithoutyourhelp(=ifyouhadnothelpedus)

Butfortherain,(ifithadnotbeenfortherain,)wewouldhavefinishedthework

2.賓語從句中的虛擬語氣

1)wish后賓語從句的虛擬語氣

與現(xiàn)在事實相反，用were或動詞的一般過去式;與過去事實相反，用had+過去分詞;表示將

來沒有把握或不太可能實現(xiàn)的愿望，用would/could/might+動詞原形，后的從句不能用should.

如：

Iwishshewerehere.

Iwishyouwouldgowithustomorrow

Iwishshehadtakenmyadvice

2)order,suggest,demand,insist,等表示命令,要求，建議的詞后賓語從句的虛擬語氣，形式

為(should)+動詞原形

3.asif/asthough后有時用虛擬語氣

1）從句所設想的時間與主句動作同時發(fā)生，從句動詞用過去時（be用were）

Itlooksasifsheweresick.

2）從句所設想的時間動作于主句謂語發(fā)生，從句動詞用had+過去分詞.如：

Ifeelasifwehadknowneachotherforyears

4.（should）+動詞原形在某些從句中的應用

1）當賓語從句從的i胃語是suggest,request,insist,desire,demand,propose,order,

command,arrange等動詞時，如：

Isuggestedthatweshouldgothereonfoot.

注意:當suggest表示暗示，表明時,不用虛擬語氣，用陳述語氣,如：

Thesmileonherfacesuggestedthatshewassatisfiedwithourwork.

當insist表示堅持認為之意時，不用虛擬語氣用陳述語氣.如：

Themaninsistedthathehadneverstolenthemoney

2）Itisordered/desired/decided/requested/strange/important/natural/apity等后的主語從

句中

Itisdesiredthatweshouldgeteverythingreadytonight

3）advice,idea,order,plan,demand,proposal,suggestion,request等名詞之后的表語從句

和同位語從句中,如：

Mysuggestionisthatweshouldholdameetingthisevening

5.wouldrather,hadbetter后的句子的虛擬語氣

1）接動詞原形，指現(xiàn)在或?qū)淼臅r間，表示主語的主觀愿望和選擇

Iwouldratherdoittoday

Youhadbetternotgodancingtonight

2)接不定式的完成式，表示過去的某種不恰當?shù)倪x擇.如:

Iwouldrathernothavetoldherthenews.Sheissuchagossip

3)接從句，用一般過去時，表示現(xiàn)在或?qū)淼脑竿?用過去完成時，表示過去的愿望.如：

6.itis(high)timethat....句型中,從句的謂語動詞用過去式，或should+動詞原形，其中
