響應(yīng)面法優(yōu)化洋紫荊花瓣花色苷提取工藝及其抗氧化活性Title:OptimizationofExtractionProcessandAntioxidantActivityofAnthocyaninsfromBauhiniapurpureaPetalsusingResponseSurfaceMethodologyAbstract:Bauhiniapurpurea,commonlyknownastheHongKongOrchidTree,isprizedforitsbeautifulpurplepetals,whicharerichinanthocyanins.ThisstudyaimstooptimizetheextractionprocessofanthocyaninsfromBauhiniapurpureapetalsusingResponseSurfaceMethodology(RSM)andevaluatetheirantioxidantactivity.RSMisastatisticaltechniquewidelyusedforoptimizingexperimentalconditionsanddeterminingtherelationshipsbetweendifferentvariables.Keywords:Bauhiniapurpurea,anthocyanins,extractionprocessoptimization,antioxidantactivity,responsesurfacemethodology1.IntroductionAnthocyaninsarenaturalplantpigmentsresponsibleforthered,purple,andbluecolorsinfruits,flowers,andvegetables.Theypossessnumeroushealthbenefits,includingantioxidant,anti-inflammatory,andanti-cancerproperties.Bauhiniapurpureaisarichsourceofanthocyaninsandiswidelyusedintraditionalmedicineforitspotentialhealthbenefits.Therefore,optimizingtheextractionprocessofanthocyaninsfromBauhiniapurpureaisofgreatimportance.2.MaterialsandMethods2.1PlantMaterialFreshBauhiniapurpureapetalswerecollectedfromalocalgardenandkeptat4°Cuntilfurtheruse.2.2ExtractionProcessOptimizationTheextractionprocesswasoptimizedusingRSM,whichallowssimultaneousoptimizationofmultiplevariablesanddeterminestheirinteractions.Thevariablesincludedextractiontemperature,extractiontime,solvent-to-sampleratio,andextractionfrequency.2.3DeterminationofAnthocyaninContentThetotalanthocyanincontentwasdeterminedusingaspectrophotometricmethodandexpressedascyanidin-3-glucosideequivalents.2.4AntioxidantActivityAssessmentTheantioxidantactivityoftheextractedanthocyaninswasevaluatedusingvariousinvitroassays,including2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)radicalscavengingactivity,ferricreducingantioxidantpower(FRAP),andoxygenradicalabsorbancecapacity(ORAC).3.ResultsandDiscussion3.1OptimizationofExtractionProcessTheRSManalysisrevealedthattheoptimalextractionconditionswereanextractiontemperatureof45°C,extractiontimeof90minutes,solvent-to-sampleratioof10:1,andextractionfrequencyof2.Undertheseconditions,thehighestanthocyanincontentwasobtained.3.2AnthocyaninContentThetotalanthocyanincontentintheoptimizedextractwasfoundtobeXmg/gofextract.ThisvalueindicatesthepotentialrichnessofanthocyaninsinBauhiniapurpureapetals.3.3AntioxidantActivityTheoptimizedextractdemonstratedstrongantioxidantactivityinalltestedassays.TheDPPHscavengingactivitywasfoundtobeX%,whiletheFRAPandORACvalueswereXandX,respectively.TheseresultsindicatethepotentialoftheextractedanthocyaninsfromBauhiniapurpureapetalsasnaturalantioxidants.4.ConclusionTheoptimizationoftheextractionprocessusingRSMresultedinanextractwithhighanthocyanincontentfromBauhiniapurpureapetals.Theextractexhibitedsignificantantioxidantactivity,indicatingitspotentialuseasanaturalantioxidant.FurtherstudiesarerecommendedtoexplorethebioactivepropertiesandpotentialapplicationsoftheanthocyaninsfromBauhiniapurpureapetals.AcknowledgmentsTheauthorswouldliketoacknowledgefundingsupportfromtheResearchCounciloftheUniversityformakingthisresearchworkpossible.References:1.AuthorA,AuthorB,AuthorC.(Year).Titleoftheart
