hiswifedecidedtoreturntoChina.In1950,whentheywerereadytoreturnhome,theywerestoppedbyUSofficials
andsenttoprison.WiththehelpofChinesegovernmentandhisfriends,hefinallyreturnedhome.
WhenhereturnedtoChinain1955,ourcountry'sspaceresearchwasalmostablank.In1956,hesetupthefirst
researchinstituteofrocketsandmissiles.Fromthenon,hewasinchargeofdevelopingChina'smissile,rocketand
spacecraftresearchprograms.Hewasapioneerintheserelatedfieldsandwashonoredas“ThefatherofChina's
Missiles”.HeistheprideoftheChinesepeople.Hemadeimportantcontributionstothemissileandspaceprogramsin
China.
HepassedawayonOctober31,2009attheageof98,butheisamanwhostillencouragesChineseyouth.His
