dizzy,andlackedpassion.Mostworrying,though,I

gottheflueasily

andexperienced

many

toothaches,too.At

the

endofthecampIheard,"Changetheworld

by

changing

yourself."Thisstimulatedmy

motivation.A

dentist

once

examined

meand

told

me

that

too

much

sugar

in

my

mealshaddamaged

myteeth

andhealth.Imade

upmy

mind

to

change

two

thingsin

my

life:to

eatnothingwithsugarand

to

exercise

regularly.AfterthatIstoppedbuying

allthe

sweets,biscuits,and

sugary

drinks

thatIusedto

haveeveryday.Whenever

I

went

out

with

friends,Ibroughtsnacks

from

home,things

that

didn't

haveanyaddedsugar:fruit,nuts,driedmeat,etc.My

exercise

was

verysimple:I

went

outsideevery

day

for

at

least

30

minutes

and

didsomethingactive.SometimesIplayedtable

tennisor

badminton

with

my

cousins.Other

times

Ijumped

onmy

skateboardand

rode

around

myneighbourhood,or

just

took

a

long

walk.Theresultshave

beenfantastic.Ifeel

more

dynamicand

strongerthanever,inbothbodyand

mind.I

sleep

soundly

at

night

now.I

nolonger

suffer

from

a

flu

virus

ortoothacheseither.Best

ofall,inmyopinion,is

how

Ifeelaboutmyself.IfeellikeI'm

in

control

ofmyownlife.To

make

choices

about

afterthe

camp,I

realised

that

it

was

very,veryimportant

to

adjust

my

lifestyle.I

decided

totakecontrolofmy

life

and

find

otherwaystorelax.It

was

a

big

struggle

nottojoinmyfriendsin

playing

online

games

as

I'mmad

forthem.However,I

realised

that

to

succeed

inquitting.I

had

to

replaceit

withsomethingelse.SoIthoughtaboutwhattotry.Rockclimbing,bowling,watching

comedies,

andplayingbasketball

were

thethings

I

thoughtof

doinginstead.Nowmydad

and

I

go

rock

climbing

togeher

monthly

!It

has

enhancedthe

quality

ofmylife,improvingmyhealth

and

increasing

myhappiness.Igetrefreshedthroughclimbing,spend

more

time

with

my

dad,and

get

to

meetnewfriends.After

sixmonthsoftrying

out

new

ways

ofrelaxing,Ifeelmuchmore

energetic.I

feel

thatI

can

change

myself

forthe

better.Andif

that'strueforme,thenitmighttrulybe

possibletochange

the

worldforthebetter.AsGandhisaid,"Bethechange

that

used

to

haveveryday.Whenever

went

out

with

friends,Iroughtsnacksfromhome,things

that

didn't

meat,etc.My

exercise

was

went
