Ask the Ss to retell the text in Unit 2. 2. Ask the Ss “How to learn English?” and let them to discuss in groups and present their answers.1. Try to retell the text.2. Discuss in groups and show the answers in front of the class.2知識新授Read and learn the useful sentences in Language in use. You should Why dont you.?Its + adj. + to do sth. Read loudly and try to understand the meaning of every sentence, and then use them to make some sentences. 3情景操練1. Listening practice. Play the tape and finish off part 1 and 2.2. Show six pictures. Ask them to talk about them and say if Jack is a good student.3. Ask the Ss to give advice to Jack. 4. Ask them to work in pairs and read the problem and give advice.5. Ask them to finish part 6-9 .1. Listen to the tape and do part 1 and 2, then check answers in pairs. 2. Look at the picture and say what Jack usually does.3. Tell him how to be a good student.4.
